The Prodigal Father Part 1

Phoebe’s POV:

Lately, I’d been receiving strange calls, but whenever I tried to call back, I couldn’t connect.

I pushed those thoughts aside due to Jonathan and Eric’s games.

Today seemed no different until the caller said something that caught me off guard.

“Hello,” he repeated.

“I can hear you,” I responded.

He sighed, relieved that I was listening. I was too stunned to speak further.

When I noticed Eric staring at me, I forced a smile.

“I know this sounds strange and suspicious, but I’m telling the truth. I shouldn’t be contacting you. I have no right, but I need to talk to you.

When I found out you were Daisy’s daughter, I realized you were also my daughter,” he suddenly paused.

“Phoebe, are you listening?” he asked.

I was in shock. My body tensed. Who was this man, boldly claiming to be my father? I questioned myself.

My father was supposed to have died long ago, so why was someone making such a claim?

“Phoebe!” he called again, knowing my name and my mother’s. It
