"Where did you spend the night?" Her mom asked as soon as she came in.
"What? I'm not a teenager anymore... I have a free will to go anywhere, anytime." She said without batting an eyelid.
"You knew I was waiting for you, right?" Olivia said as she followed her.
"I had a really rough morning Mum, please" She said as she sank into the chair and sighed.
"Kylie hon, if you're disturbed or in need of something or someone to talk to. I'm always here for you" Olivia said and rubbed Kylie's rough hair.
"I made breakfast. And I have to go to work, my leave's over, I'll call you when I get home" Olivia said as she got her things and walked out of the house.
Her stomach growled as she looked at the dinning table designed with covered plates, juice and water.
"God,I miss this" Kylie said as she strolled sluggishly to the table and opened the cover.
Omelette topped with cheese and chives. In another plate lay chicken "drumstick" to be precise.She quickly sat down as she ate all that was on the plate."Ah...I completely forgot all my worries just now" She said after gulping a glass of orange juice.
"She must think I'm still a baby,she even bought me the cookie I don't like anymore" She hissed and closed the fridge.
She brought out her phone and of course,the card and dialed the number.
"Hello, I'm Scott's girlfriend. I can't seem to reach him. I got your card from the receptionist at the hotel. Do you know where he might be?" She said waiting for a response from the other party.
"I'll send you an address,you should come there" The person said and hung up.
"Huh? Such grumpy person,how can he...wait, are they after my life. I really should relocate" Kylie said right before she got an SMS.
"Restaurant? Well..I might be safe after all." I should head out now.
She went into her room and changed to a white charade bow tie hollow baack short coat and blue denim pants.
"Hmm..I look good" She said and admired herself.

She waved towards a girl that walked into the restaurant. The girl looked very pretty and proud and confused. But she still walked over to the woman who waved.
"Excuse me,I talked to a man over the phone, where's he?" She said without any greetings.
"I'm his boss, Scott's mother; Victoria Anderson, I was there when you made the phone call and he told me about it, I wanted to see my son's girlfriend for the first time. Do you mind?" Victoria said beaming with radiant smiles.
"Huh? You're his mother, the rapist?" She murmured silently.
"I don't mind at all, Ma'am" Kylie smiled when she noticed she was being weird.
"Sit down and order whatever you want. Here's the menu" Vic blurted out as soon as Kylie sat down opposite her.
"Hmm..I don't think,I need food. I already had breakfast" Kylie refused her gesture.
"It's afternoon now, don't you want lunch? I can assure you that they're food here is great" Vic insisted.
"I'm hungry anyways,I'll just open the menu and order one" Kylie thought as she smiled and opened the thick menu.
She gasped as she saw the names of the food in the menu. Things she'd never ate. But she still went for her favorite Spaghetti Bolognese.
"That only,you can choose anything else" Victoria said after telling the waiter her order.
"Yes,that's all" Kylie said and smiled.
"I didn't know Scott had a girlfriend, he's so secretive. He kept telling me that he doesn't want to go on blind dates, I guess it was because of you. To believe that he said he was gay" Vic laughed and Kylie joined even though it wasn't funny.
"It's not like that,we recently..erm..just met" Kylie said nervously and smiled.
"So,are you guys fighting? You should know where he is,right?"
"Like I said,we recently just met,so I don't really know much about where he goes." Kylie uttered.
"I have your number now,dear. I'll send you the address of where he goes with his friend. You'll definitely find him there" Vic said as she started eating her meal.
"Thanks ma'am." Kylie said as she started eating too.
"Hmm...this is delicious"
"Really, you should order more. It's alright,order more" Vic said after a sip of wine.
"I don't really eat much" Kylie uttered with a chuckle.
"Thanks for the food ma'am, I'll treat you next time we met." Kylie said knowing that there won't be a next.
"Really? I would love that,and we can go with Scott right?"
"Yes ma'am,like a vacation" Kylie said and winked.
"I really like you dear,you know what? Call me Mum. I've always wanted a female daughter"
"Mum? I don't think I should do that"
"It's okay,I insist, you should call me Mum anytime we met. And you haven't told me your name dear" Vic said and rubbed Kylie's left arm.
"I'm Kylie. Kylie Martin" Kylie said proudly.
"Alright Kylie. I have to go. I have a meeting. You should see Scott, he'll be there by now." Vic said after glancing at the gold watch on her wrist.
Vic got into the call and made a "I'll call you sign" to Kylie before the car zoomed off.
"Such a nice woman. She doesn't know that her son is a rapist. I'm this close to getting her son arrested." Kylie scoffed as she checked her phone.
"Her son must be a drunkard. I'm sure he's always letting Mum do all his work" Kylie muttered.
"Mum? What is wrong with me? I don't even know her. I should hurry" Kylie said and flagged a taxi.
