RUBY'S POV

The next day came so swiftly and my alarm woke me up. I groaned while reaching for my phone and when I checked the time, it was 10 am already.

Quickly, I got out of bed and headed for the bathroom where I cleaned myself up for the day before changing into a simple pair of jeans and a shirt then I left for the kitchen and Clarissa was making pancakes while Sally watched her.

“Good morning family” I chirped and they both looked at me before smiling so I did the same.

“You're finally up. I was beginning to think you wanted to wake up by noon” Clarissa said to me and I rolled my eyes while grabbing an apple to eat.

Even if I wasn't a masked dancer who was pressured into sticking to a particular weight and shape anymore, I still had to stay fit for my health.

“I guess it's the exhaustion from the past couple days. Don't worry, my body is about to get used to the new timing I'll have from now on since I won't be working late anymore” I told Clarissa and she nodded whi
