Lucas drove himself to the Villa.

He couldn't deny it but he missed her and prayed she would be at the villa when he arrived. He owed her a apology as well, his conscience had been against him since the day he had hit her which made her run away from him.

It happened that Le Faye was also at the villa to retrieve a few personal items, a final step she was taking to sever the remaining ties she had with Lucas.

Upon entering, she placed her phone on the table and left to the dressing room to pack her outfits that were in it.

As she walked into the dressing room, she did not notice Lucas stepping out of the kitchen and he did not notice her presence too.

Walking out, he had heard his phone buzzing and he had picked it to answer the caller on the end of the phone but was interrupted by a sound—a faint buzzing followed by the unmistakable click of a recording device starting up. He turned to see Le Faye's phone on the table, its screen lit up with the recording app active.
