Chapter 63

No matter how he tried to take his mind off what he had witnessed, he couldn't and the more he tried, he more he recalled what the man had said to him.

"Stop fighting for things that are not yours". He spoke like someone who had had a personal e counter with him sometimes but no matter how hard he recked his brain, he couldn't figure out where and how he might have run into him anytime in the past.

Walking back from the stairs to Ward 5, he stood by the bed of the room, staring at his daughter who was sleeping. She had already stopped bleeding and her cut wound had been covered with bandages.

His eyes darted to her hand and he watched as the blood flowed into her, his heart begining to burn once again as it was not his blood that had been going into her.

He turned from looking at her and found his way out of the ward, heading to the doctor's office.
