"Diana?"

Diana glanced at the sound of the voice; it was from Evelyn. She had watched everything that had happened. Evelyn had a huge smile on her face, and Diana could see that she was upset.

"Mother?"

"You don't have to cry; we can do something about it." Evelyn said.

"There is nothing we can do about it. I have tried really hard to make him fall in love with me, but he refuses to do so." Diana said. "He told me he loves her, and I can't do anything; he doesn't want me." She sobbed even louder. "Why does she have to show up now?"

Evelyn walked over to Diana and pulled her into a bear hug. Diana hugged her back immediately and sobbed on her shoulder.

"I will find a way to make sure he never marries her. You are the only one I picked to be my son's wife."

"Are you sure we can do anything about it?" Diana questioned. "He seemed to care for her a lot."
