Emily left the office and made her way to the bus stop to get a taxi to take her to the north side of the city. Earlier in the day, she had received a text message from Samantha demanding to meet with her at the Hot Sticks restaurant located on the north side of the city after the close of work.When she got to the bus stop, there were no taxis in sight. She tried to cease her breathing but was barely able to achieve that because as it is, she was too weak to properly direct the function of any part of her body.
