PEGGY'S POV. The moment I stepped foot into the airport, I felt the fresh air of New York city hit my face. It felt really good to be back home. I had initially told myself I wasn't going to return home until I was done with my third year in school atleast. But that was all before my big brother Carter had told me about this girl whom his imbecile of his father had forced him to marry. Carter wasn't my biological brother per say, but he had earned that position in my life in every way possible. He was the reason I was even going to school, as well as my rebellious sister Annabelle. NATHAN'S POV On a normal day, I would have been indifferent to situations like this. It wasn't going to be the first time women were fighting each other on my account, but this was Peggy! Janet had humiliated Peggy in the worst way possible, and I wasn't going to be having any of it. I was still shocked and couldn't find it in me to say a word or make a move. Carter and Mila were already angrily chastising Janet who seemed to be comfortably eating her food, which only seemed to aggravate my anger the more. MILA'S POV Personally, I knew Peggy and Nathan were hiding more than they were letting on, but I didn't want to come off as intrusive. I honestly felt I had intruded enough already. I walked up the staircase to my room and settled on the couch adjacent to my bed. I hadn't gotten seated for up to 5 minutes when Peggy came in through the door and made straight for my bed.
