Sweat poured down both sides of the face of the man with a sharp nose who was gasping out of breath.
His jaw was firm as a line of sweat descended through his protruding bone. He bent down while wiping some of the sweat that slid down the tail of his right eye.
The girl he had been chasing for a few minutes then finally turned around, bent over and stretched out her right hand, about to sweep away some of the sweat that had flooded the left side of the face of the man in front of her. "Let me help, Ash." said the girl.
The owner of the name brushed off the girl's helping hand, then replied, "No need." he stressed.
The girl gave a small nod in agreement. He understands that Ash refuses to be helped to settle such trivial matters.
Ash straightened up again. He glanced at the girl dressed all in black. "Leona," called Ash as if he wanted to ask something.
"Hm?" The girl raised her gaze; stared at Ash who was taller than her. "Talk, Ash. Don't be half-assed." continued Leona.
Ash closed his eyes while wiping all parts of his face with a rough sweep. In the next second Ash rubbed the back of his head in the same manner. Rough.
It was clear that Ash was gathering up all his courage to reveal some of the things that made his chest feel tight. One step, two steps, Ash approached then stopped his steps when there was no longer any distance between himself and Leona.
Nothing he did for fifteen seconds. Ash just looked at Leona who was giving all her attention to the man who looked so towering in front of her.
Ash sighed in resignation. "What does this relationship mean to you, Leona ?" Ace asked Leona. "Do you just think of me as a toy?"
Leona blinked –staring at Ash faintly while reviewing his trademark smile.
"Do you think I was playing with you?" Ash again wiped his face with a rough sweep. His breath sounded so heavy and stifled. Ash also looked up, staring at the sky which suddenly looked so sad. Ash covered his pair of brown blinds with his palms. Leona's words sounded so piercing even though not a single sentence was spoken with emphasis.
A shadow that was so choking again appeared in the memory. All of Leona's annoying behavior, Leona's attitude that always changes without warning, even lately Leona always acts as she pleases.
Initially, Ash tried to understand. For him, maybe that is the nature of a vampire. However, even after thinking it over and over again it didn't make any sense. Because whenever Ash is caught interacting with other girls, or even giving small favors to other girls, Leona's attitude immediately explodes like someone who is burning with jealousy.
Other times, Leona acted as if Ash was nothing to her. Yes, to be honest, maybe Ash is nothing to Leona. But, Leona really acted as if Ash wasn't someone close enough to her.
It happened over and over again whenever someone who was said to be part of the Skarsgard family came.
Other times, when everything feels right, when it's just her and Ash, Leona was act really cute. Anyone who accidentally witnesses them spending time together will assume that they are lovers who are romantically drunk.
Ash let out a huffed breath while sweeping under his heavy eyes. Ash lowered his gaze again while staring at Leona's pair of hazel beads. "What do I mean to you, Leona?" asked Ash; his tone sounded a little high and it managed to disperse all kinds of Leona's daydreams.
There was a long sigh, accompanied by a sigh of resignation at the end. Leona's hazel beads moved quickly in all directions, looking at all aspects of Ash.
Then in the next second, Leona gave all her attention to Ash's jet iris without showing any expression. Instead of answering Ash's question, Leona asked the same question.
She brought his lips to one of Ash's ears, then whispered, "What do I mean to you, Ash?" she whispered, emphasizing the last three sentences.
Leona took a step back then looked back at Ash's hawk blind while tilting her head slightly to the right side and smiling her signature smile. "Without me explaining, you already know the answer very well, right?" said Leona with a sarcastic laugh at the end of the sentence.
Ash showed a grin before finally doing the same thing, – bringing his face closer to Leona, making the tips of their noses bump into each other. Ash sighed in resignation. He closed his eyes for a moment, then stared into Leona's hazel eye.
"Very well. Do whatever you want, Leona Argent." softly Ash.
Ash turned around, with his long strides, Ash left Leona in a flash. Leona did not flinch. All she did was watch Ash leave with a sad gaze. She had just realized that what was in her mind was inversely proportional to what was in Ash's mind.
She thought Ash would hug her, ask her to be by his side — forever. But as if struck by reality, someone loudly shouted, uttering a sentence that literally made her pair of round nets open wide for a few seconds.
"You can never be together!" exclaimed someone from somewhere. "Give it up, Argent!" He continued, appearing from behind a big tree; not far from where Leona was standing at that time.
It's true what that person said. No matter how hard they try to be together, they will never be able to come together.
After taking in the meaning of the words that person said, Leona lowered her head for a few moments; exhaled roughly as he looked up, staring at the evening sky which had seemed so gray since when. Like the feeling.
"Never mind. Stop coming to me, Damien Skarsgard. I have no interest in coming back to you!" exclaimed Leona as the tail of her eye caught a familiar figure. Damien Skarsgard.
"Give up when you realized, Argent!" said Damien once again.
His eagle eye was scanning Leona from head to toe. She don't know what he found there, but it really managed to make him smile sideways when their blind people finally met.
Damien stretched out his right hand in front of Leona. "Come back to me, Leona. Being part of the Skarsgard Family is not a mistake." said Damien hopefully.
"Stop bothering her, Damien!" shrieked Ash. The sentence succeeded in making Leona and Damien raise their heads; staring at Ash who had been sitting on one of the big tree branches since sometime, right behind Leona.
"Ash?" called Leona when her eyes caught the figure of Ash who was reviewing his sharp grin. "Since when were you up there?" asked Leona curiously.

Damien approached, –standing in front of Leona while staring at the girl in front of him faintly.
Leona frowned and was about to back off regularly, but Damien managed to pull Leona closer – erasing the distance between the two. "Come back to me." whispered Damien. "There's no point in loving a creature other than yours, Argent."
The sight succeeded in making Ash heated up. Sharp nails began to appear one by one. There was a sound of soft tearing from the clothes she was wearing.
Within seconds all of Ash's clothes were torn apart. His body enlarged – changing to its original form. A wolf in gray hair.
With his jaw stiffened he bared his sharp fangs as he darted towards Damien.
The two of them met in the air, attacking each other, and what sounded next was only the sound of tears as well as groans from the two of them.
The first snow fell that afternoon. The entire Argent family stared at the white expanse they were stepping on. Moonwood City welcomed the arrival of those cold-blooded creatures with white grains descending from the sky. One by one, they entered the classic-style yard. The house they were going to make as a new refuge, –a hideout from the Skarsgards' pursuit. The house was much bigger than their previous residence. Everything looks so comfortable. In fact, Malia smiled a lot since she entered the house for the first time. She looks so happy. With her cheerful voice, from Malia's point of view, the atmosphere of the house felt like the atmosphere of the residence of her real family, the Hale Family. Loui, who had been putting his two feet on the Moonwood ground ever since, only paid attention to all the joys made by Malia. Smile without stopping. Happy Malia is his happinness too. For him, Malia is a happy virus. No. Not just for him, bu
In another place, not so far from the residence of the Argent Family, a woman seemed busy - going back and forth here and there, hawking various kinds of food that they were going to eat that night. Erin Cooper. A single mother who has been the backbone of the family since her husband left ten years ago. Morning to evening she will be busy with all kinds of office work, at night she fulfills her duties as a mother to her twins. Gabriel and Ashton. At first glance, the small family looks like an ordinary family in general. But in reality they are not from ordinary families. Erin is the wife of Dennis Cooper - the most respected werewolf in Moonwood City. Dennis died ten years ago during a dispute between the werewolves clan and the vampire clan, Dennis's death is still a mystery and only a handful of parties know exactly how it happened. Charles Argent one of them.Since that day the werewolves Moonwood clan lost their leader, –Ashton an
"Tell the truth. Who turned you into a Hybrid, Archie?" demanded Ash. Archie scratched the corner of his brow, he really was spotted. "Ah. That ... Actually, I also don't know exactly who did it back then. Because—" Archie gasped. He hasn't really finished his sentence yet, but Ash so calmly interrupted his words. "Is the Purebloods in there?" Ash asked as he stretched his right index finger to the magnificent Mitchell mansion that was clearly displayed in front of them. This is dangerous. Ash did not let go of his sharp gaze for even a second from the magnificent building. He tried to scan, looking for the culprit who had changed his friend. Even though his gaze and tone were so calm, it was actually dangerous. Ash was gathering all his strength and was ready to attack his prey. "P-purebloods? What do you mean, Ash?" asked Archie, stuttering. Either he was pretending, or indeed he did not know the facts. But his question managed to distract Ash fr
Still in the same room, all the members of the Argent Family turned their full attention to Charles alone. He kept his anger to himself, and managed to make his children and grandchildren feel worried - curious about the cause. The three grandchildren approached, then stood around the grandfather. "Doesn't your mouth taste sour? You became quiet after coming into contact with that hybrid boy." said Leona. Leona rotated her eyes when Charles suddenly laughed with amusement at her behavior and words. Not. Not only Charles, but everyone in the room also laughed. She cast her bright gaze at those who had been laughing at her since a while ago. "Can you stop laughing? It's not the time to laugh at me, grandpa." Leona grumbled. Loui nodded. He confirmed Leona's statement. "That's right. You has to tell us something, grandpa." replied Loui. "So, what did you get from that hybrid brat? Looks like it really bothered you, Grandpa?" said Luca. Luca's curiosit
"Ashton! Come here, son." called Erin when the front door of her house creaked, followed by the sound of footsteps. Ash immediately straightened his body after successfully closing the door tightly — he approached Erin with long strides. "Sorry, Mom. I forgot that today we have dinner together." he explained. Erin immediately hugged her son and then congratulated him with a series of prayers and hopes for her eldest son. Ash didn't flinch. He tightened his hug to Erin. "I almost made a fuss, ma'am." softly Ash. "Are you making a fuss in Mitchell Hills, Ash?" Erin was curious. In the next split second Ash let go of his embrace, – staring into Erin's sad eyes. Instead of answering, Ash asked in return, "How did you know?" Erin gently rubbed the top of Ash's head while reviewing a smile when her nether eyes met Ash's jet bead. "Just answer, honey. I just need an answer." "A pureblood managed to turn Archie into a hybrid. And in the house
Malia was busy pouring hot water into her favorite big mug. Her smile grew when she heard the sound of screaming footsteps getting closer to her."Loui. We can chat on the balcony of your room, right? I don't want to stare at the cen—" Malia jumped in surprise as she turned.Luca stood in the doorway and gave him a sad look. Malia continued to put on a sweet smile - she was trying her best to break the awkwardness she had just accidentally made."Want to tell me something?" asked Malia excitedly.Luca left, walking ahead after giving a nod in response. Malia followed awkwardly. She was really confused and felt bad. She called out Loui's name before turning around and confirming who had come to her at that time. She really felt that she was the cause of the sad look Luca had shown her just a moment ago. They sat together on the balcony of Luca's room. Awkwardly, Malia sipped her warm chocolate while
"Brother! Did you make Malia angry?" Leona spoke up after nearly thirty minutes of silence as everyone was busy with their own business.Loui focused on driving and paid attention to the road in front of him. Luca who sat behind him was drowning with the thick book in his hand. Malia, who that day chose to sit next to Luca, leaned her head against the window glass, closing her eyes, pretending to be asleep."Loui Argent! Can you hear me?" Leona tilted her head slightly; noticed Loui who was so engrossed in driving their new car.Loui gave Leona a quick glance, then returned all his attention to the road in front of them. He chuckled softly as he caught the annoyed look Leona was showing him."We'll talk about that later, Leona Argent." he whispered.Leona sneered at all Loui's words. "Ya, ya, ya. Whatever!" replied Leona irritably.Loui stopped the car in front of a building that re
"Leona, we'll wait in the parking lot, okay? Looks like Ash wants to talk about a lot of things."Malia immediately pulled Loui - took him away leaving Leona with Ash. They stop in their tracks when their eye catches Leona and Ash going to the forest behind the University building.Initially, Malia and Loui wanted to let them settle the business they had to settle. But when Loui's sense of smell caught a very familiar smell. He became worried.Loui immediately took Malia to the place where Gabe and Archie were -entrusting Malia to both of them."Hey!" shrieked Malia. "Am I looks like a thing? Why did you leave me with them?" Malia grumbled in annoyance at the word 'leave' which Loui said to Gabe and Archie.Loui smiled a slight smile as he rubbed the top of Malia's head gently and said, "Sorry, just a moment, OK? I'm afraid Skarsgard will mess up." he said. "Wait here just a moment, OK?"As if

Ash focused his entire attention on Rosalie, his gaze fixed on the woman in red in front of him. Even though Rosalie appeared resigned, he knew that as a mother, Rosalie wanted to use all of her strength to find her beloved daughter's body. They scattered through the forest in a straight line—parallel to facilitate common ground when they found what they were looking for—at that moment, after each gave a nod of agreement. *** At Skarsgard Castle Gabe and his two friends were visibly concerned as they observed some of the sturdy structures partially collapsing. Not at all, contrary to what Loui previously stated. Instead of being completely destroyed by fire, the classic structure was only partially destroyed. The Beta has surrounded every corner of the castle, looking for a safe entrance to assist the eldest Argent who is still inside. When he was about to bring his four legs into one of the building's corners, a pair of hands restrained all of his movem
Rosalie just nodded when she heard all kinds of information conveyed by the big tall man in front of her. He reported about the fight that took place between Ash, Damien and Leona. And the girl became the only victim in the incident. While Stefan and Charles could only sigh, Malia was the only one shedding tears, and Luca looked so angry when he heard the whole series of events. "What about Loui?" Malia asked the big man in front of them. The girl looked so worried about the situation of the Eldest Argent who had now become part of the Skarsgard Family. "Is Loui all right there?" asked Malia again. The man was silent, unable to give a definite answer to the petite girl in front of him, because he had not yet had time to enter Skarsgard Castle when he arrived at the frontier. In the next split second he shrugged his shoulders, then gave a faint nod in response. "Sorry, Malia. I don't know how he's doing. Just pray that he's okay now." Malia n
Loui calmly let go of Irina's grip in one jolt, then pulled a sheet of iron cover on the side of the furnace —closing the hole immediately. In an instant the huge hole was completely closed. Loui could only hear Irina's screams after the hearth had been stuffed with thick iron sheets. "Sorry, Irina. This is not the day I died." Loui's monologue before he finally made his way down the stairs and looked for the rest of the castle's inhabitants. Lucien, and Victoria of course.***The forest that Ash and Damien had previously used as a place to fight was quiet again as before being touched by the two. Only the chirping of owls can be heard when the night is on duty to replace all the carefree chirping that only appears when the sky is clear. A pair of feet entered the forest, occasionally stopping in their tracks while looking around —scanning every corner. The owner of the legs again moved towards the only big tree that was there
CRASH!Damien separated the girl's head from her body in one strong tug. At the same time Ash turned around. His body froze as he saw Damien's hand holding the girl's head which had been separated from her body."Take this!" Damien threw the girl's head at Ash who was frozen on the other side. "Have fun with her!" Damien laughed. His husky voice rose, filling all the silence and darkness that began to cover the forest. He was still reluctant to leave the place —wanting to see what kind of reaction the Alpha would show when he saw his girl was dead because of his actions. Ash spontaneously caught what Damien threw in front of him. He hugged her, then looked at the girl's face which looked much paler. He rubbed the girl's previously closed eyelids. A few seconds after Ash brought his leg to the place where the girl's body fell. With shaking hands, the Alpha lifted the piece of the body —carrying it to a tree house not far from where he s
"Go home. I know what I have to do." The baritone voice was firm and deep. Different than usual. Not like Ash she really knew. Even his sharp glare looked different. Dark. As Damien showed when he witnessed all the intimacy they displayed in front of him. Without saying anything Ash also Damien shifted and flocked towards the pine forest behind the hills. Leona gave chase, but swiftly —without considering all the risks, Damien waved one hand at the girl who was trying to tail him and the Alpha. The girl was thrown far away —rolling off the top of the hill. In the next split second Damien waved his hand again, then made a movement like he was tying something from a distance. At the same time Leona groaned as her body felt like it was bound. Ash turned around, jumped into the air with part of his body starting to grow gray fur, then lunged and attacked Damien with his wolf body. Damien collapsed and counterattacked —avoiding all sorts of
"Can't you stop talking?" She asked.Leona repeated her words for the umpteenth time. She desired to do something other than converse with the young man in her arms."I’ll do. But, can you promise me one thing?" Ash's expression was solemn. In contrast to what he had previously demonstrated. He meant what he said, and he expected the girl to make a vow to him.Leona paused for a moment, taking a deep breath before responding to the Alpha's request. "Go ahead and do it. Declare it." She posed a challenge."Please allow me to set you free. Will you? "The Alpha replied with all the sincerity he could muster through his gaze.Leona frowned in confusion. The bases of her brows almost fused together—meeting at the same point. She was nervous. Not reluctant to answer, it's just that she knows the true meaning of the Alpha's words. She realized that Ash knew what she was dealing with right now. Through his sharp gaze, he gave a sign which was
Silence. The girl in front of him remained silent. Her glance, too, was bland and expressionless. It appears to be both cold and frightening.Aware of the situation, Ash gently placed a helmet over Leona's head, ensuring that it fit properly and protected one of the girl's most valuable portions of her body. After successfully donning the headgear, Ash mounted his motorcycle, started it, and held out his right hand in front of the girl, intending to assist her in riding his iron horse, which was large and tall, making it difficult for the girls to ride. After Leona sat safely behind Ash's back and hugged him from behind, Ash stepped on the gas. The girl was deafeningly quiet, didn't say anything, and her face was not as animated as it had been. Despite the fact that he didn't believe he had done anything wrong or even hurt Leona's feelings, Ash chose to pull over to the side of the road and talk to her."Hey?"Ash rubbed Leona's skin with his two thumbs aft
Ash kept smiling—he'd been staring at his reflection in the mirror for 15 minutes. He continued to examine himself from head to toe, including the clothes that were on his body at the time.Ash could hide a pile of clothes he'd been trying on for 30 minutes if he shifted a little behind his back. He was really busy figuring out what clothes and looks would suit Leona, doing all sorts of things with her for an entire day, as he had promised her a few days before.***"Can we have a picnic in the hills, Leona, your parents' favorite spot?"Leona's round eyes narrowed as she suspected something. "Are you trying to ask me out on a date?" Leona confidently inquired."If so, will you refuse?" Ash asked, nodding without hesitation.Leona's left brow furrowed as she clearly heard the Alpha's bold, defiant response. The young man appeared to be becoming more daring in expressing his will. Leona took a deep breath and folded her arms across her chest, h
