DEAD TO ME

Antonio pulled up in front of Angela's house, his breath coming in gasps,his heart racing.

Unlike before the house was dry and quiet,there were noticeable changes too but his mind was too occupied to point out the details.

He quickly ran up the front steps and pounded on the door violently,as though he was pouring out his rage. He could feel his pulse thundering in his ears.

“Open the god-damned door!’

He yelled.

There was no answer, and he pounded again, desperation welling up inside of him.

"Angela!"

He banged on the door again and again.

"Angela! You can't hide from me! We made an agreement bitch!"

He pounded on the door again.

He heard a muffled sound coming from inside the house, and his heart skipped.

Was that Angela?

He banged on the door again, calling out her name.

“Angela!”

He was about to break down the door when he heard footsteps approaching.

He spun around, his chest heaving ,the door opened slowly but unfortunately,it wasn't Angela nor was it her brother.
