~3RD PERSON'S POV~

“Ughhh, my head,” Marie groaned, placing her left palm on her forehead. She opened her eyes slowly, then sat up, looking around in an attempt to figure out where she was. Her vision was a little blurry, but after sighting a few familiar objects, she came to the conclusion that she was in her bedroom.

Her room was empty, but she could hear the giggles of the maids walking through the passages around it.

“What happened?” She asked softly. She moved her legs to the ground and tried to get up. As she rose from the bed, her hips creaked like an old wooden door, and she dropped to the ground with a loud thud.

“Hmm, my legs are unusually weak,” she thought to herself, staring at her thighs.

She turned back to the door, squinting her eyes to get a clearer view of it. She used her right fist to rub her eyes repeatedly to see if her vision would get any clearer, then placed her palms on the bed to pull herself off the ground. Her legs shook vigorously like a lea
