ARIA

I was too warm. I shifted uncomfortably and tore the covers from my body. I frowned. Today had been hot and I clearly remember telling Alice I wanted a very light nightgown. Because of the heat, I had slept without covering myself. Was it Adrian? Why would he cover me in this heat? I opened my eyes and looked at the side of the bed. Even in the dark, I could make out the bed was cold and empty. Adrian hadn't yet come to bed. My heart picked up in race as a lot of other thoughts kept coming to my head.

What was happening? Who covered me in my sleep?

No one could come in here, I was probably overthinking and overreacting. Adrian had probably come in here and thought to cover me. I was probably cold in my sleep.
