ANTONELLA'S POV

I could not believe it was really happening to me.

As I walked away from him, tears filled my eyes. I willed the ground to open up and swallow me but it didn't.

I had just watched the Alpha make out with Griselda. It was a horrific scene, one I wished I could quickly erase from my memory.

I knew that was not going to be possible however. I was going to be seeing them together for a very long time, in the pack, and also, in my head.

What worsened matters was the fact that the Alpha had given me a nearly impossible task to accomplish. He had sent me to the borders of the pack, the same borders that we both knew was very dangerous, just to get him a rare spice.

I had the feeling that he was doing all these just to get back at me, for spending time with the man he hated, Hermes.

I stopped at the grand doors that led to the palace and I looked around. It was probably going to be the last time I saw all the faces I was already used to around here. The chances of me survi
