RHODA'S POV

After a while of turning around the bed, unable to sleep, I gently rose from the bed and went out of the room— into the dark woods where I shifted and ran—going deeper into the woods.

I soon got to the place where the river was. I stop running and shifted back to my human form.

I sat on the river bank and dippped my legs into the river as my body calmed.

The moonlight shone, casting their reflection on the water. The water was so chilly but I enjoyed the feeling of it on my legs.

I flinched a bit when I felt a presence behind me. I could see the person's shadow reflecting on the water.

I swiftly turned back, ready to attack if need be, but when I saw it was Jayden, I let out a relieved hissed.

"Way to go Rhoda! He's definitely here to spoil your mood" I mumbled to myself.

Pulling my legs out of the water, I tried standing but his hands captured me, stopping me from moving.
