CHAPTER FOUR

The Crescent pack

Selena glared at the direction they went. She could roughly guess what was going to happen. She clenched her fists tightly. 

'That bitch!' She cursed inwardly.

How dare she? For years she had assumed the role of Alpha Nolan's bedmate. She even nursed the idea of becoming the Luna of the pack. 

Was there any better option than her? There wasn't any suitable candidate than her among the whole pack? 

"That bitch has to be put in her place. Did you guys see how disrespectful to the Alpha?"

She looked at her other pack members.

"She's rude,she has to know her place. This isn't her pack." Herold smirked as he tapped his fingers on the large table in front of their seats.

"But she's beautiful..." Ivan couldn't help but comment.

Selena glared sharply at him. Was he stupid? Didn't he see she was in a foul mood already?

"She isn't. She's just another pretty face,no brains. What is beauty without brains?" Selena fumed.

The fact that other pack members acknowledged Sylvia's beauty was a bad thing. Since they all thought she was beautiful,then the Alpha was no exception.

Although it was only Ivan that voiced out his opinion,she could see from the looks of others that they all thought the same.

"Beauty or not,she isn't welcome here. This pack's dignity won't be soiled by the Luna of a cheap pack. After she tastes hardship for a little while,she will come back to her senses." Loanna supported Selena. Just like Selena,she had felt threatened by Sylvia immediately she walked through the door.

She always prayed Alpha Nolan choose any of them to warm his bed. With the addition of Sylvia,she was sure the Alpha wouldn't take a second glance at them.

They were all beautiful no doubts... But Alpha Nolan wouldn't settle for something less. This could be seen by his relationship with Selena.

Since she was the most beautiful among the pack,she was chosen.

"We aren't against that. She doesn't even respect our Alpha." Karienna said. 

Immediately she set her eyes on Sylvia,she so wanted to scratch her beautiful face so badly. She was expecting to see a lady with mediocre looks. But what did she see? 

A young and exceptionally beautiful lady... 

A threat..

The pack members glanced at themselves with a look of understanding. Luna Sylvia was welcome to the world of suffering..

"Since that's decided,I'll be going out for a while."

The cool breeze nothing to reduce Selena's fury. The rays from the sun flashed through the trees creating a beautiful scene.

The forest was behind the pack house and other pack members also came here whenever they wanted a pack race.

She pulled off her clothes and first of all got into the lake in front of her. Selena wanted to calm her nerves. She didn't want to do anything stupid.

But she couldn't understand why her emotions was so strong. Of course she was jealous of the Alpha having sex with another person. But why was the emotion so strong?

Could it be?....

No, if it was really true,then she was done for...

Loving the ruthless Alpha?

Alpha Nolan had been having sex years for years, yet there was no feelings attached. 

Wasted feelings...

Yet she couldn't help but feel drawn to him. Who wouldn't?

Alpha Nolan was a strongly built young man over flowing with manly hormones. He had the abs and biceps in the right places. What's more? Alpha Nolan was fucking handsome... No, handsome wouldn't be the right term for him.

She knew everyone in the pack house admired the Alpha. She always tried to deter other Betas from nursing any stupid feeling towards the Alpha. He was hers and hers alone...

Now this?

"Stupid bitch!" She cursed loudly this time. After all,there was no one around to hear her. She shouted loudly and splashed the waters. 

"Luna hunhh? Let's see how I will make you a pathetic and lowly Beta.

She got out of the water slowly as she glanced down at her body. She had always been proud of her body. She had the curves at the right places.

However....

Sylvia was younger than her, probably twenty one. She couldn't be more than that. Then,how was it possible that Sylvia's body was more curvy than hers?

She even heard Sylvia was a hybrid; with a vampire mother.

How could someone like that become the Luna of their pack? Didn't other pack members object?

Being a hybrid was rare,and there wasn't any hybrid in the whole of their pack.

If there was,the person would have been exiled a long time ago. 

'Aaaaah!!!' 

Her anger was killing her. Alpha Nolan was still in his chambers with her? Still fucking her,she guessed.

Was she good in bed? Could Sylvia pleasure the Alpha the way she did? 

Probably not...

She didn't have any experience of course.

Selena could bet her ass she was still a virgin.

She wore her clothes; she wasn't in the mood to race at that moment. She sat under a tree and glanced down at her fingers.

Among the whole pack members, she and three others were the only unmated ones. 

A mate? 

Did she want one?

If she could be Alpha Nolan's mate,she would be happy to find one. She wasn't ugly,was she?

How could twenty members be mated? Leaving four unmated ones....

Maybe she was Alpha Nolan's mate? 

She sat up at the thought. She leaned back on the tree again. If she was, they would have known a long time ago.

Her scent wasn't alluring or enticing to the Alpha or any member at all....

She had to make Sylvia suffer. 

But what if Sylvia was Alpha Nolan's mate?

No way... A hybrid?

It wasn't possible...

Alpha Nolan deserved better... He deserved her...

She was the only one suited to become the Alpha's mate.

She was beautiful,smart and most importantly,she could pleasure him the way the Alpha wanted it...

'Let's see how you would fare after some weeks in the Crescent pack house.' She smirked.

Even if she did nothing, it didn't mean other pack members will either...
