Going over to the palace to find Axel was pointless after all.

I managed to leave with Axel without being seen by Ashley and the princes. They were so engrossed in their stupid make-out session that they did not notice us.

However, Axel did not let it slide after he caught me watching his brothers make out with Ashley.

“I think you are taking things too far, Jasmine! Standing there staring at them was uncalled for,” he said, angrily.

“But I…I was looking for you” I explained.

“Looking for me? And somehow you believed I would be there too? Making out with Ashley?” I could hear the irritation in his voice and I felt so stupid.

Nothing I said made sense to Axel.

When he eventually allowed me to explain things to him and why I wanted Ashley out of the way, he said I should not bother. He said Ashley was not good enough to take my place.

I told him specifically that I wanted him to deal with her and make her stay away from the club. But he refused. He said he would not stoop
