87: Prioritize Yourself

I pulled out my face towel and wiped off the sweat that ran from my temple down to my cheeks. I took a deep breath and practiced the split again and this time it was smoother. I nodded and did it again.

Then I did a quick swirl with my hands in the air as my eyes danced around the practice room.

I felt really happy that I could do cheer club exercises again. Being in the practice room brought lots of memories. I recalled how often I visited the practice room, to do my routines.

I had high hopes of joining the cheer club. That was before Jasmine suddenly became interested too and threatened to harm me if I competed with her for a position in the club. In a bid to avoid trouble, I had given up on the club and Jasmine got in. She even became the president, accountable only to the club coach.
