3.THE TRUTH

The groaning sound of a woman about to put to bed, reverberate around the park, as her mate stood outside the infirmary, pray to the goddess for safe delivery of his mate. He could feel the pain of his mate through their bond, there is nothing he could do but continuing praying to the goddess to give his mate more strength.
He was deep in thought worrying about his mate that he failed to notice the commotion going on in the pack.
He smilied as he heard the cry of a baby pup. He raced into the room his mate is in. He couldn't hold his joy as he looked at the bundle of joy the goddess as once again bestowed unto him. He moved to get a closer look at he daughter and mate but he was flunged across the room by a force he didn't see coming, he rose immediately from the floor to look at what flunged him.
He stood facing the back of the thing that threw him, he happens to be an exile alpha who has lived as long as a lycan, in his wolf form. He became aggregated with fear as the monster approaches his mate and his newly born baby, he could smell his wife fear filling the room and her face open wild in horror. She cuddle her baby close to her chest as her cry increases with the growing tension in coming from her mother.
Out of impulse he spurt out into his wolf form to defend his families. He bit hard on the hind limb of the monster. The monster stop in his movement and turned his back snarling at his attacker as if giving a sign of warming.
He didn't back down as he look for an opening to attack the monster again, as he moved to bite his leg again he was flung across the wall for the second time, he knows he had to stand up and defend his family, before he could restabilize himself the monster snatched his baby from his mate, she shouted in horror as she begin to weep telling the monster to release her baby, he notice the baby stop cry at first he thought she was dead but he could still her heart beat. Fear gripped him as he thought this could probably be the last time of seeing his daughter, with rage he pounce on the beast using his claws to tear deep into it fur, he refused to bulge as the tries to twist itself to pull him off balance but he still remained on it back his claws dug deep into his fur in tight grip.
His mate continues to sob at the nightmare still holding her daughter between his teeth but she knew the beast wasn't holding bitting her daughter to leave a mark, but she was still scared any little pressure from the beast side will lead to a break in her daughter's skin. She doesn't want to admit with her maternal instinct that the monster is her baby's mate. She thought to herself, my baby will grow up and find her mate not this. Her sobs increase when she thinks about the possibility of her thought. She just hopes and prays he doesn't mark her.
"Get off his back" he heard the voice of his alpha in his head, he growl back at the alpha, if the monster doesn't drop his daughter he his not backing off. The alpha was forced to use his power to compel him to stop. He trys to revert the force of the power against him but he stumbled to the alpha's power. Senseing the weight lifted from his back, the monster turned to face the the pack of wolves at the entrance of the room with the alpha standing in human form holding a gun that he knew for sure shoot sliver. The beast growl in disapproval, there is only one way he could eat his cake and have it. He placed the newborn on the floor, he looked into her green one last time before bitting on her shoulder thereby marking her.
A scream of anguish was heard from the mother of the child has she looked at her baby been marked. Growling from the pack of the wolf increase as the father of the child lung forward to attack the beast but was held back by another wolf, the sound of the gun was heard as it hit it target. The monster fell back as the sliver hit him on his shoulder close to his heart, without proper treatment he knew he will be dead before sunrise.
With the monster fallen, the father ran to his family picking his daughter with his mouth and his mate running down to join them, she took her daughter from her mate and cuddle her as she cry her eyes out.
"Take them to the pack house" the alpha stated.
"Anna you have to leave this country go far away from this pack, move to another continent, Cain has escaped and he might come looking for her" the man said as he urge his mate to leave the pack because of the threat coming for their daughter.
"Don't forget to rub the marrintal to cover her scent from him" he said giving his mate a container
"Aren't you coming Ruben' she asked her mate on the verge of crying
"i can't Anna I promise to be in touch with you, I won't be at peace till I find the monster" he said with anger in his tone.
They kissed goodbye and she entered the car stationed to carry her to the airport. Her, her daughter and her five years son.

PRESENT DAYI burst out in laughter at the ridiculous things my mother just said.
"Mum you've got to be kidding me, how can I be a werewolf"? I asked her still laughing at her funny joke, she expect me to believe what she just told me, she lost me, right from the beginning of her story, when she said I am a werewolf, she even made it funnier when she said I was mated. I don't think she knows the meaning of mate, that is the term for animals, I mean zoologist can relate.
"Bree I'm tell you the truth" she said looking into my eyes with desperation expecting me to believe her, is she for real now.
"So you are say a beast marked me as his girlfriend, cos I refuse to use the animal term mate" I said looking at her.
"And this so called marked boyfriend could not get me because of the cream I do you, by the way you are the one manufacturing it back in new York.
"The cream I make for you is different from what I manufacture to my customer" I looked at my mother mother with my jaw dropped open, really I thought to myself.
"I've told to we have to conceal your scent from him" she said in a matter of fact tone. I breath in deeply as a thought cross my mind.
"Why then did you bring me back to this place" I asked, she looked down at her fingers playing with her nails, before she looks back at me.
"We had to bring you back because you will soon reach the stage of puberty" puberty I scoffed internally at my mum she know i've started the process of puberty, I mean my hips are getting curvy and my bosom is grow and to top it, i've also started my monthly red day. I thought to my self.
"I don't mean your human side puberty" she said as if she read my mind.
"I meant your transformation into your wolf form". Woo she had got to be kidding me, she is still serious about this wolf talk.
" are you for real for cause I can't fathom what you are saying how can you be telling me i'm going to transform in to a wolf"
"I'm telling you the truth now Bree, I know it so hard for you to accept since you are not brought up in that life style, if I had told you from the beginning, the monster would have easily found you but living as a human has protected you up till this moment" she said. I still don't understand why she will keep this from me up till this moment.
"So what difference does it make the guy that marked me will still come looking for me"
"The difference is that in the next four month you will reach your puberty stage, and you will start learning how to fight in your wolf form" she tells me. Come to think of it, is that why she made me learn martial art back in NYC.
"You will just be practicing your already learnt martial art" she said confirming my sucpetion.
"Two month from now you will start feeling a starch at the back of you mind, don't fight because that is the spirit of your wolf" Interrupt her before she could continue.
"Are you saying the wolf will be another person entirely"? I asked her
"Not exactly" she replied.
"It is just the same you but it is the primal aspect of you that represent your wolf form". She said I tried as much as possible to understand what she mean but I couldn't, I turned to my brother to help me out, looking at him with a confused face.
"The thing is, you are two different person and personality but live in one body". He said looking at me to make sure I was getting what he is trying to say, I nodded my head urging him to go on.
"So in your human for your wolf will reside in the back of your mind and in your wolf form you reside in back of the wolf mind, but you are the main pilot of your control" he said.
"Even in my wolf form" I asked
"Even in you wolf form you might decide to still hold control or you might decide not to but there are sometime the wolf part might want to take full control" I looked at him hanging on every words of his mouth. Since this is my fate, I guess I would learn to get you to it.
"That why you will have to under some training to be able to control your wolf side". He said.
"Wow, I said out loud so when I'm I starting the training"? I asked.
" that would be in four month time, as you wait for the training to take place." my mother said looking at me.
"You will complete your high school education, after school you will report to the park to continue your training" she tells me. Park, oh park of wolves I keep forgetting I'm one.
"do humans live in this town or it just wolf"? I asked.
"Human does live here but majority of the inhabitants of this town are werewolf". What tha.. So most of the people at the grocery store will definitely be wolf, I thought to myself.
"When will I be introduced to this park"? I asked them but I wasn't expecting another voice to respond to my question.
"You sure will be meeting them very soon". All eyes turned to the voice that answered me.
"Ruben" my mother called in shock.

I knew I have been forgetting to do something for the past two days, since I relocated to England.The sound of my phone ringing was what woke me up.
