I watch Domenico hold that girl like she was his source of life, staring at them both with hatred in my eyes, I wait for my call to be answered.

"She's still at home" I say to the person on the other side of the call, my air pods plugged to my ears.

"Would she be going to school today? We might get it done after she goes to school or when she is on her way back" The person on the other side said.

I look at them both one more time before replying to him.

"I am not sure if she would be going to school or not, doesn't look like at, but I can't be certain" I answer to the question my eyes still on them watching them as they stay in each other's embrace.

Enjoy holding her for as long as you can, Domenico. Because after today, it might be the last time you would get to hold her while she is alive.
