In my office, I couldn’t wash away in my mind the kiss I shared with Olive. It was intense and heartfelt. I was convinced that nothing could stand in the way of taking things further. However, Olive pushed me away and told me to back off.

It was crystal clear - she despised me.

Considering she's my partner, she probably enjoyed the kiss, even though she hasn't fully embraced her wolf yet. But if she went as far as pushing me away, it meant she truly loathed me.
