64. "Forgiveness"

Olive’s POV

I perched on the plush sofa inside Lycan Aaron's office.

My neck throbbing with a dull ache. I couldn't help but wince as I shifted my weight, trying to find a comfortable position. My eyes flicked up as I heard the sound of footsteps approaching, and I saw Aaron carrying a small box of first aid supplies.

He settled down next to me, his eyes scanning my neck with concern. "Let me help you," he murmured, his voice low and soothing. "Your neck is all red."
