29. Aftermath of Beating the Prisoner

Olive’s POV

“Doctor!”

I gasped when something tickly and wet touched the wound on my hand and started to rub. My heart was beating so fast as I looked at Dr. Griffin, who was licking my palm. It was an attack I did not expect to receive.

And just when I was about to pull my hand from his grip, I noticed that the bitter pain in my hand ceased, and the blood flow had stopped.

Red blood was smeared on Dr. Griffin’s clenched lips. I got goosebumps.

It was so strange that he did not look uncomfortable even after licking me. Holding my hand tightly, Dr. Griffin smiled.

“You have been cured,” he said.

When I looked at my hand, the wound really was healed.

“W-What was that?” I asked while the heat on the back of my neck was sizzling. I struggled to suppress the heat from going up to my cheeks.

“It was one of my specialties as a doctor,” he said.

I tried to hide my hand behind my back but was caught up in his swift movements.
