25. "The Man Who Looks Like Her Childhood Friend"

Olive’s POV

Upon departing from Asmund's quarters, I was consumed with a potent mixture of frustration and bewilderment. With a scowl, I cast a final glance toward his room before striding away.

“I know he wanted to torment me, but that’s too much,” I complained while walking to the castle hallway with nowhere to go.

Clearly, Asmund has no intention of making me his lover, nor is he really infatuated with me.

“Does he really think I’ll fall for his trap if he uses his face?”

I stopped walking and recalled last night’s event with Lycan Aaron.

‘Asmund’s seduction did not work. But what about Aaron?’

I deeply regret my actions and feel ashamed for telling Asmund that I would remain loyal to my boyfriend Vincent when I allowed Aaron to kiss me and even go beyond just a touch. Although I did not engage in impure behavior, I am troubled by how my body responded to Aaron.
