LIGHT'S POV

Mahira and I sat in the field outside the pack house as we watched some of the pack members, both male and female train. while Some were sitting on the grass, watching the fight like we were, and others were jogging around.

"Light, it's not so bad here in the pack house, I hope you consider staying. Next time you might not be so lucky, the alpha might really punish you," Mahira briefly glanced at me as she spoke, before taking her gaze back to the field.

However, I remained silent, lost in thoughts. Maybe, she's right_ maybe there was no use running away. After all, my life before becoming a concubine was an isolated one. Every day was the same thing, Wake up, shower, eat, go to school, watch movies or read novels, eat again, and then sleep. I had no friends or social life.
