It still felt like a dream that I was this close to marrying the man of my dreams. Although he just proposed, wedding bells chimed in my head and a pre-bridal buzz pumped through my veins.

Life was perfect. Well, kinda.

I chuckled to myself, admiring the shiny diamond ring Chad slipped onto my left hand. It shone even more under the lights, and it was all mine!

Giddy as a schoolgirl, I couldn't stop twirling the ring around on my finger. It was beautiful.

I spun around for another look at Chad. He seemed so happy too and his eyes crinkled when his lips curved upward at the corners.

“You warm my heart, Chad. It's not hard to imagine a future with you.”

“Right,” he laughed. “Let's hope you don't freak out when you begin to see the annoying side of me, especially when I snore at night and sleep with one arm slung across your shoulders.”

“Gross,” I fake gagged. “I guess I'll have to get some earplugs then.”

He gave me a playful shove and lowered to kiss me. When our lips parted,
