My heart froze upon hearing that name. At the same time, Alucard flinched and even gasped. Right now, I felt like somebody threw me a bucket of ice, and my body coerced me to get up from the bed.

Charity... That name caused a strife in my heart.

"You should tend your visitor, Alucard," I said sweetly, smiling in his direction. I caught the fear written in his eyes when our gazes met as he saw the devoid of emotions there. "Our children and I are going to leave. I badly need to rest now."

"Already, Mommy?" the triplets chirped, their voices sounding disappointed.

"Faustina..." Alucard looked at me. "I don't know why..." he paused when he saw me glaring at him.

"We're leaving, and you must attend to your beautiful visitor..." I stood up and patted his back. "Talk to my assistant about the progress of your jewelry as well as the birthday party of our triplets," I said, emphasizing that certain word he wanted to hear from me.
