After kissing me passionately, Vincent threw me over his shoulder, growling loudly.

“That was it for your stay in your stupid dorm, Little Swan. From now on, we will live together.”

Swaying on his shoulder freely, I was unable to calm my racing heart. Vincent’s resolute tone fluttered countless butterflies in my belly. Without even raising this topic, he took the next step in our relationship, allowing me to be in his personal space. Although I had a lot to discuss with him, this simple gesture was a good start, giving me hope for our future.

The way to his mansion was a blur as Vincent ran like a flash, covering the long distance in seconds. If it wasn’t for his hand on my back, I would have flown like a dried lead in the storm. Closing my eyes shut, I saved myself from dizziness and soon, Vincent’s soft voice slithered into my ears.

“We are home, Little Swan.”

I cautiously opened one eye as my bum touched the softness of a mattress, the luxury of the room
