The Surprise (ii)

I turned towards the window as I looked steadily. I also didn't say a word to him when suddenly, I saw the car drive into a compound and its building looked like a hotel.

Furthermore, I wondered why he brought me to a hotel. Maybe that's where the surprise would take place.

We both climbed down from the car and walked into the building where we met with the receptionist, and he paid for a room and thanks to one of the staff, she took us to our room.

“Thank you.” Gerard said to her as I watched the staff walk back to her work position.

He inserted the key and unlocked the door and once it was unlocked, he pushed the door open and held me by the wrist as we both walked into the hotel room before he then locked the door.

He led me to the bed and made me sit on the bed. Likewise, he gave me a kiss on my lips and then walked towards the television and switched it on and made sure it was on a music channel and, luckily for him, the ongoing playing music was his favourite. I saw him n
