VALERIE

“Walk faster!”

I glanced back at my mother’s pale face as my stepfather dragged me roughly to the car parked in the driveway.

I wanted to part my parched lips and inquire from him where we were going with my bags but the fear that tightened my heart didn’t let me speak a word. Instead, I followed him sheepishly like a sheep being led to the slaughterhouse.

Ever since my father died and my mother remarried, my life has turned upside-down. I turned into a servant overnight at his arrival, and my helpless mother did nothing but watch me do his bidding.

Every day, I wished and hoped that I would finally get out of the house and find a life for myself, the life that I was destined for.

And sometimes, when I understand how helpless my mother is, I refrain from the thought of running away.

But what can one do? I am confused, helpless, and stuck with a monster my mother brought into our lives.

My stepfather shoved me into the passenger's seat and slammed the door close before walking over to the driver’s seat.

My eyes dimmed in confusion when I saw a tear slip out of my mother’s eyes as the car roared to life and skidded out of the driveway.

My stomach churned in discomfort and anxiety as a thousand questions roamed around my head.

Where could he be taking me to?

Why was Mother crying?

Why is my luggage with me?

What is going to be my fate after this?

I sought desperately for an answer to my numerous questions but found none. Even though it would have been easier if I asked the hardened-faced man seated right next to me, I still couldn’t bring myself to do it.

I felt like I was drowning in a pool of anxiety and uncertainty.

After many hours of driving, he finally pulled up in front of a large beautiful gate. I couldn’t tell where that was, but I was sure that it was far away from my Pack; it seemed to be another Pack entirely.

My stepfather honked the horn severally before the large gates were pulled open. He drove in and parked the car in a corner.

He got out of the car and swung the door to my seat open, glaring hatefully at me.

“Get out!” he bellowed and didn’t wait for me to move a limb before dragging me out of the car.

“Are you here to see the Alpha?” a voice muttered behind us and we turned around to see a large hairy man staring intimidatingly at us.

“Yes,” my stepfather said, chuckling nervously.

“Follow me,” the man muttered and began to lead the way into a beautiful mansion that stood some distance away from us.

I tried to look around the unfamiliar surroundings, but my stepfather’s owlish eyes, which were pinned on me, made that impossible.

I fixed my eyes on the back of the huge man, wondering what we were doing in a place like this.

The man led us into a large living room, decorated with beautiful historic drawings from ceiling to floor.

The luxurious, expensive furniture, Persian rugs, marbled floor, and sweet-scenting flowers positioned at all corners of the large room screamed wealth and power.

The echo of footsteps from the spiral staircase brought an end to my fascination.

“He is here,” the man muttered and quickly wheezed out of the room, leaving my father with a man that I barely knew.

The dark aura revolving around the handsome man hit me, making me take a step back.

I stared at his breathtaking face and body. All my life, I’ve never come across a man as handsome as the one that stood a few inches away from me.

His enchanting brown eyes stared keenly at me then slowly moved to my stepfather’s face.

From the corner of my eyes, I watched my stepfather shudder in fear.

That was the first time I had seen fear glisten in his eyes. My brows raised as I wondered who the man was to make my monstrous stepfather shudder in fear.

“Greetings, Alpha,” he exclaimed and bowed low to the ground, making my eyes widen.

He tilted his head and snickered at me.

“Bow, you silly girl!” he snapped and I quickly went down on my knees.

Before kissing my forehead to the ground, I raised my eyes at the man and cringed when my eyes locked with those blank brown eyes.

I quickly brought my head down and prostrated like my stepfather did.

“Is that the girl?” I heard the man ask.

“Yes, Alpha,” my stepfather replied without raising his head.

“Hmmm… will she be fit for the work?”

My heart constricted as I pondered on his words.

Work? What work is he talking about?

“Yes, to be honest, she is still a virgin!” my stepfather blurted out and I snapped my head in his direction.

I wanted to ask what was going on, but my stepfather’s deadly glare, coupled with the man’s aura, shut me up.

I gulped down and kept my head down, hoping that it wouldn’t turn out to be what I thought.

“Raise your head, little girl,” the man muttered.

Even though I didn’t like the sound of him calling me little, I obeyed him and lifted my head.

“Get up,” he commanded in a cold voice and I staggered up to my feet.

He stared at me with eyes full of dark lust.

My body froze as he covered up the spaces between us and pinched my nipples.

A gasp escaped from my lips and he smirked in satisfaction.

“Her buds are just what I’m looking for,” he muttered and licked his lips, sending shivers down my spine.

My stepfather raised his head and grinned.

“I knew you would like her, Alpha,” he chuckled.

“She’s more than enough to repay the debts that you owe. You can leave,” the man muttered and my father’s grin widened.

My heart shrank and dropped into my belly as I stared at the two men in dismay.

I didn’t want to believe that my father was selling me off to an unknown man, but the reality of it was glaring mockingly at my face.

“My Beta will hand over the remaining money to you once you step out,” the man said and my stepfather nodded eagerly.

“Here’s your bag, Val, and be a good girl,” he patted my head before dropping my bag at my numb feet.

“Father!” I called out in a quivering voice as he turned around to walk out

He cranked his head backward, no ounce of remorse left in his eyes.

“Obey the Alpha and be a good girl, you’ll be better off here!” he snarled and trotted out as fast as he could.

The tears that stung my eyes dropped freely and rolled down my cheeks as I cried silently.

“Wipe those tears away! I don’t like them,” the man huffed and I glanced up at him, summoning my courage.

“What do you want from me?” I snapped.

His brows raised as he took slow strides towards me then wrapped his fingers around my chin.

“Your body.”

“What?” I gasped out.

He lowered his face to my level and whispered in a dark voice.

“You are going to become my sex slave.”

  • Lycan Brothers Want Me   Angel of death

MICHELLE I coughed loudly as I staggered along the corridor, clutching my bleeding belly. I groaned and stopped walking then slid down to the ground. I pulled my hand away and stared at the blood on my palm. I thought I would feel peace and better after killing the Luna Queen, but somehow, I didn't feel better. Instead, I felt worse. I staggered up and continued to stagger forward. Everything was over. Even if the Lycan brothers won this war, the lordess of destruction would come and destroy every single thing they had fought for. All I wanted was revenge and perhaps, if possible, power. I had gotten revenge on the Luna Queen and Valerie. All that was left was to find the power that I needed to be safe from the Lycan brothers because I was sure that they would come for me.There was only one way to protect myself from the Lycan brothers, and that was aligning with the lordess of destruction.Though the stories that I had heard and read concerning her were scary and spine-chilli

KILLIAN "Fire!" Neil yelled and bullets began to rain at the monsters emerging towards us. "Alpha, you should leave the fight for us. The pack needs you!" Neil shouted as he rushed towards us. "No, no, don't worry too much about it. And we are going to fight. We will not let you do this alone," I replied. I looked at his body and noticed that he even had worse slashes than we did. It would be the most embarrassing thing if we let our soldiers who look up to us fight for the Pack. Valerie asked us to do this, so we will. We will destroy every single one of them, including Garam. "Fire!" The bullets kept raining at the beasts but none of them were shaken by the bullets. "Tell the younger men to fight off the little demons. We will take care of these," I muttered and he nodded before leaving to give the command and split the soldiers into their new positions. Salvador turned around and shouted out to the men, warning them to stop firing. The soldiers didn't stop, but their eye

LUNA JASMINE We sat down on the ground, waiting for the disgusting demon to decide our freedom. No matter how hard it hurt him, he knew he wouldn't be able to execute us if he wanted. He had to seek permission from all the Alphas in the Wolf Kingdom or get the heads of my sons, which I knew would never be possible."Are we going to remain here forever, mother?" Adriana asked as she stopped pacing around and slumped down beside me."Don't worry, we will get out soon," I muttered.I sighed and threw my head back."He won't be able to kill us, right?" Arlene asked from the dark corner she was sitting in.I chuckled loudly and shook my head."No way, he would never be able to hurt us," I replied.I paused and looked at Arlene who was hidden in darkness."So, tell me, why did you steal the blade?" I asked.Arlene scoffed and crawled out of the dark corner she had been hidden in since yesterday."Well... I thought it would be useful to me someday, and it did become useful," she muttered, a

KILLIAN "Ready?" Neil growled and the men that had gathered from different Packs chorused in response. I took a long drag at the cigarette and threw it on the ground, then crushed it with my leg. "Are you sure Salvador will come?" Lucian asked as he stepped closer. I shrugged and glanced at my wristwatch. "He wouldn't wish for death, will he?" I mumbled and chuckled loudly then looked at the large gates of the manor. "Get your weapons ready," Neil growled and the archers fixed their arrows and pulled the bow. Neil raised his hands, signaling they got ready to shoot into the manor. The climbers dropped to their knees and shielded themselves as the archers pulled the bow, waiting on Neil's order. "Fire!" The arrows got released into the manor and the climbers grabbed the ropes they had earlier tied to the walls and began to climb over the wall. Garam forgot that this manor belonged to the Nox family. We knew the in and out of the manor like the back of our palm.Michelle thou

GARAM I poured more wine into the cup and only stopped when it got to the brim. "The walls are firmly secured, right?" I asked and my assistant nodded. I took a deep breath and grabbed the cup before heading to the window."I don't trust those wolves at all." "You don't have to worry, my lord, some of our brothers are there as well," he replied, causing me to sigh in relief. "If anything goes wrong, let me know," I muttered and he nodded firmly before trudging out of the room. Even though it wasn't over yet, I still felt what peace felt like in these past few days. With the Luna and her daughters locked up, the wolf packs that didn't support me terrorized daily by demons, the submission of the people, and even most of the Alpha who feared or couldn't endure the terrorism, everything has been at peace. I couldn't wait to get rid of the Lycan kings and continue to maintain this peace and order. I chuckled loudly and took a sip of the wine while staring down at the ongoing activit

  • Lycan Brothers Want Me   Legacy or her?

LUCIAN“N.. No!" She stammered, and we swerved around. Valerie wrapped her hands around her body, trembling with shock on her face. "Valerie, don't be afraid, nothing is going to happen to you. We will protect you no matter what!" I tried to assure her, but the tears in her eyes proved otherwise. I doubted if she believed my words. How could the people who were meant to kill her protect her? "You can't," she whispered in a grave voice, and my throat knotted. "Valerie..." Killian moved closer and reached out to touch her, but she shifted back, shaking her head as the tears that welled up in her eyes rolled down her reddened cheeks. "You cannot save me. You were born to destroy me," she muttered, crying. This was too difficult to believe. There was no way it could be her face."I don't think this is true, there is no way that can be Valerie. It can't be her, the... The crystals possibly made a mistake!" Killian yelled, pointing at the face that had refused to fade from the crystal
