Chapter 4 She Is Missing

My phone alarm went off, and I went to give Alpha King Lukarien, his meds.  He was awake and waiting for me. "How was your day, child?" he asked as he took his meds, "It was just school nothing special, they are all the same," I said with a fake smile. He smiled back, "Will you stay and have dinner with me?" he asked and I smiled he was the only one who even tried to comfort me, and for that I was grateful.

"You know your Father and I met here, he was a member of our pack until he met your mother," he said smiling at me.

"You knew my Mother?" I asked him wanting to know more, My father would never talk about her, he said it hurt too much. So I eagerly wanted to hear all he had to say. "She was a beauty, your mother, just like you." he said smiling. "and special too." his eyes glowed with remembering them and his youth, and possibly her. 

He kept talking as the maid brought in our dinner trays, I helped him to sit up propping pillows behind his back. "We both loved her, you know," his words shocked me, but I remained quiet eager to hear more, as I ate. "But he had developed a Mate bond with her and I had to back down." he frowned, not long after that I met my mate, Their mother," he said referring to the Alpha triplets.

He moaned as he ate his food. Something was bothering him, "The council has informed me that you can not sign our contract until you turn 18,  he had changed the subject way too fast. I knew he was getting uncomfortable talking about people from his past.

"That will give me some time to concentrate on my school work and graduation day," I said, glad that I had more time to think and prepare if things changed.. I wanted my wolf more than anything, and then what if I found my true mate, after that.. "Also I am retiring and my sons will take my place as Alpha Kings, it's getting to be too much for me." he frowned. "My boys can be very hot-headed, especially Blaze. I worry about them."

Oh goddess please guide me in what to do. I have no one else in the world that can help me besides them. I saw that he had finished his meal and his eyelids were drooping. I took his tray and adjusted his pillows as he drifted off to sleep, his meds made him sleepy, and he moaned, "Don't give up on them Syla." he whispered. I had no idea what he meant by that, it was probably just the meds talking. As I quietly left his room, just as I eased the door shut, Blaze appeared, "Why didn't you tell me what she had done?" he looked pissed. I remembered his father's words and tried to calm him down.

"I don't want any more trouble that's all," I said as I tried to go back to my room. He grabbed my arm but he also accidentally grabbed my shirt with it, pulling it as he pulled me back, revealing more of my cleavage, his eyes became fixed on my full breast. "You'll never have to worry about her again," he said as he stormed away, down the hall slamming his door shut.

 The next day he brought me to school, "Dad has said I am to bring you to school every day from now on," he announced, as he opened the door for me. "Thank you, Blaze" I smiled. 

As I walked down the hall I noticed everyone was staring at me, no one said a word, It was creeping me out, but then in class, before Blaze walked in, I overheard someone say that Janet was missing, that she never made it home from school yesterday, Janet was the one who had spit in my face.

The whole class got quiet when Blaze walked in, not long after that, the class began, I glanced over at him and caught him staring at me, he smiled, but then the teacher called my name.. and I had to give my opinion on the subject we had been reading about.

On our ride back home, he announced that he had to pick something up, so we drove into town, and he stopped at a small shop, he wasn't in there long when he returned with a bag.

Later that night, he came into my room from the balcony, he gave me the bag he had picked up from the store. "My apologies for the way that I acted when you first came here."

 I opened the bag and it was a light blue silk shirt with a very low-cut neckline, "You shouldn't hide them, they are beautiful." he said as he left my room. I could never wear this to school, but it was very sexy as I looked in the mirror after trying it on. My breast was large, and it showed off my voluptuous curves and my small waist. I could not stop staring at myself in the mirror, then I saw him standing on the balcony smiling. When I turned around to say thank you, he was gone. 

I ate quietly in my room that night, and then my phone rang, "Hello?" I said shocked that I had a signal, "Hi," I recognized Blaze's voice. "I just wanted you to have my number in case you need me, and to let you know that I signed you up for combat training after school, meet me in the gym after school tomorrow," he said.

"Oh ok. and thank you for the shirt," I smiled

"I hope you liked it, as much as I did," he said and dropped the call.
