SAMANTHA
Business Law was one of the classes I enjoyed the most, but it was entirely different today since almost everyone's attention was on me during the lecture, and I found it difficult to pay attention in class. I knew coming to school with Matt was a bad idea but I didn't expect it to be that bad. I was glad that classes were already over and I couldn't wait to escape from everyone's sights to find an empty room where I could hide myself until I could get a hold of Matthew Cruz. Walking down the hallway with my phone in my hand, scrolling through my contacts list, and checking for Matt’s contact. I halted on my track when the realisation hit me. “Shit, I don't even have his contact.” A tired sigh escaped my mouth, and I looked left to right to check if anyone was watching. After making sure no one was looking my way, I sucked in a sharp breath and dragged my feet towards the nearest door, hoping to stay in the empty room to think of how to get to Matt. I lifted my hand to grab the doorknob when I heard moaning sounds coming from the room. My hand hung in the air, waiting for the sound to come again to know if I wasn't hearing things. “Mmph!” this time, the moan was louder and I withdrew my hand. Going inside the room after hearing that sound was not a good idea. I made to turn away from the door when I heard a voice that sounded just like Matt’s voice said “Turn around and give me your back”. I felt my head snap at the door and then, the sounds of bodies crashing against the furniture made colour drained from my body. My chest tightened in fear and anger. I knew Matt was a man whore before growing feelings for him, but witnessing him fucked other girls made my stomach churned with disgust. “Sam!” a voice yelled out my name, startling me. “Oh my fucking god, honey!” the voice panted heavily and I chuckled, already knew who the drama queen was. I turned around to face Oliver with his rainbow Crocs matching with his rainbow tote. “Olly?” I chuckled, the sight before me was enough to get my mind over Matt. “Hey, bro.” Olly rushed up to me and linked his arm with mine.“Sweetheart, I've been searching everywhere for you as soon as I was done with classes,” he whined and I arched my brows. “Oh, really?” I asked, not knowing why he had to search for me when he could just call me on the phone. “What’s up?” I asked, freeing my arm from his, to stare at him. He looked from left to right before leaning closer. “I heard what happened!” he whispered, but his voice was so loud that anyone from the other end would hear what he said. “My god, sweetheart, you're getting naughty.” he smiled proudly, giving my arm a little punch. I didn't say anything. I watched my best friend press a palm to his mouth, to suppress himself from screaming as he said, “Hooking up with Matthew Cruz? Fuck, that's fantastic. Tell me the gist, is it true? Does Matt know how to fuck? Is Matt’s dick highly addictive as bitches said? Did he make you feel good that you want more?” I knew Oliver was crazy but I didn't expect him to yell out such in the hallway where people were passing. “What?” I groaned and grabbed Olly’s wrist to pull him away from the hallway but he put his free hand on my hold on his wrist, stopping me from dragging him away. “Oh, sweetheart, tell me everything already I'm dying to know.” he pouted. “Oliver!” I inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly. “Can you please calm down?” for fuck sake people were passing and they were watching us. I had to hide behind Oliver as two of Natasha's friends stopped walking, throwing us a judgmental glare. “Hyping a dude’s dick when you got one! Yuck!” one scoffed and I felt my fist clenched beside me. They honestly don't need to be rude to Oliver since I was their target. “So? Should I be hyping yo bitches pussies instead?” I chuckled slowly as it seemed like their insult didn't get to Oliver at all. “One is shameless and the other is a whore. Best Friends goal.” I heard another say and I was about to step out of Oliver's back when I felt his hold on my wrist, telling me to leave the fight for him. “Fuck off bitches, stop saying nonsense or I’m going to shove my dick down your throat and deep fuck you until you bitches pass out.” he laughed. What he said must have embarrassed the two girls because I didn't hear them uttered another word and I could hear their footsteps fade as they walked away. Thank God Oliver handled them well, if not I wouldn't have known what to say to them. Fuck, I hate the attention I was getting because of Matt. “Yuck! I can't do that with bitches.” Oliver groaned, pulling me out of his back. “Oh, good lord!” I explained, seeing the number of eyes that were on us but Oliver didn't seem like he cared about them. “So, honey,” he grabbed my hand, pulling me to face him. “Everyone is going crazy about you and Matt thang. Tell me about it, how did the one night stand between the school bad boy and the school good girl went,” he said with a wink. I bit my bottom lip, it seemed like my best friend had formed a theory he wanted to believe in his head, and I Swear, I was going to murder him if he did not listen and hear me explain the situation to him. “I did…” the crashing noises from the room behind us cut me off, we both turned our gaze to see Matthew, walking out of the room with a girl from my English class, Lily, standing beside him. “Shit.” Lily gasped upon seeing me. She scurried away and I wondered what was her deal. “Hey, great thing you're here,” Matt smiled, balls of sweat dripping from his forehead. “Are you done here? Can we leave?” he moved his hand to his hair, styling his hair with his hand. My heart dropped to my stomach, never knew a guy dripping with sweat from a make-out would be that hot. “S—Sure.” I stuttered, I was practically losing my voice as Matt stared at me with those ocean eyes that were making me want to sin. “Good. Please let's go.” Matt threw his backpack over his shoulder and started walking away. I turned to face Olly who was blushing like an idiot. “I will call you later.” I mouthed and held my bag tighter as I hastened my pace to meet with Matt. “You owe me double gist, honey! I'm proud of you.” Olly yelled after me as I walked down the hallway with Matt chuckling beside me. I gulped down nothing and silently prayed he didn't hear anything Olly was saying back there.SAMANTHA“Honey, I am so fucking happy for you!” Olly screamed the sound made my phone vibrate against my ear.I rolled my eyes, why wouldn't he be so happy to hear that I was living with Matthew fucking Cruz when he had always wanted to hear more exclusive gist about Matt?“Hey, stop making it sound like a big deal.” I huffed, pouting my lip. “I swear I'm only staying with Matt because my Dad asked me to. There's nothing more to this.” I added, biting on my bottom lip real hard. The call dropped dead silent and it barely lasted for five seconds before Oliver chuckled softly which made me sink my teeth deeper into my bottom lip.“Oh honey, Don’t be silly.” Olly scolded, I could imagine him rolling his eyes dramatically after his words. “It’s not a big deal now, but I can't tell if you would still be saying that after staying with the bad boy for a week.” he chuckled and I could feel my thoughts wandering back to earlier in the hallway.I felt a rush of heat between my legs as the imag
SAMANTHA “I…” I stuttered, feeling the burn in my chest as I threw my gaze to the space beside me on the bed. My eyes caught my bra smiling wickedly at me and I hissed, feeling embarrassed. How could I be so careless? How could I be so careless that I even moaned out his name? “You…” I heard Matt cleared his throat and I lazily moved my gaze back to him. I swear, Matt looked nervous as he bent over to pick up his phone. “You didn't lock the door, I'm sorry.” “What are you sorry for?” I hissed after asking that stupid question. Even I know that was a stupid question to ask him. Of course, he walked in on me masturbating, in his home, and his name was what came out of my mouth. He definitely shouldn't have heard that. “I knocked.” he swiftly turn, pointing at the door before turning his gaze back at me. “You didn't answer and I should have turn away but I entered and…” it seemed it was so hard for him to say what I was doing because he dragged his bottom lip between his teeth and
SAMANTHAAs I walked out of statistics class, I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of relief. It had been a challenging and exhausting experience for me, and my head was still throbbing from the mental strain. I couldn't help but wonder if I'd ever really recover from the torture of that class. All I wanted was to escape to the safety of my room, where I could forget about numbers and formulas and just relax.I walked down the hallway and made to turn the corner when I heard someone yelling out my name."Sam! Samantha, sweetheart!" and before I knew it, I'd turned on my heel to see Oliver sprinting towards me with his headphones hanging around his neck. He was out of breath and looked like a mess, but his eyes were bright and his smile was ear-to-ear. I couldn't help but smile back at my best friend."Hey," I said, laughing as he panted heavily in front of me. "What's the rush?" SAMANTHA "Um, well," I gulped, shooting daggers at the back of Matt's head from the backseat as he drove us home. "Some girls invited us to a party, for some reason." I couldn't believe I was being used as a messenger for Matt, it was just so ridiculous. Matt shrugged, keeping his eyes fixed on the road ahead. "I'm not going, whatever," he scoffed, not even bothering to look at me. He kept driving, not giving me so much as a glance. Matt had been in a sour mood the entire drive home, and I decided it was best not to pry and ask him what was bothering him. He seemed like the type who wouldn't appreciate being asked about his feelings, so I let him be. "That's fine," I grumbled, gazing out the window. "Olly and I are actually going together; they invited him, too," I said, my voice a little louder than I'd intended. I hadn't meant to get Matt's attention, but I saw his head swivel towards me in the rearview mirror. "Poor Olly is going alone," Matt said with a touch of sarcasm. I cou
SAMANTHAThe drive to Ryan Hill's mansion was eerily quiet. Matt kept smirking to himself, as if he knew something I didn't. He seemed to have some kind of plan for the party, but he wasn't sharing it with me. I tried to ignore his smug expression, but it was hard to ignore the tension in the car.I leaned forward in my seat, ready to ask what was up with him. But before I could get a word out, Matt groaned and held up a hand. "Ugh, don't even bother asking," he said. I sat back, feeling annoyed and even more curious than before."We're here," Matt said, his smirk broadening as he pulled into the driveway and turned off the engine. He sat there for a moment, seemingly content to just let the silence drag on. I sat there, seething in the backseat as I stared at the back of his head. I wanted to ask him what he was planning in his head, but I bit my tongue to stop myself from asking.Matt pulled out his phone and dialed a number. "Hey, I'm here," he said, a mischievous grin playing on
SAMANTHA “You are Samantha King, yeah?” he asked, a cocky smile plastered on his face as he waved the piece of paper that had my name written on it, in the air. “You are spending seven minutes in heaven with me.” he added with a grin. The room fell silent and every eyes seemed to be on me, watching closely to study my reaction. "I..." My voice trailed off as I looked at him - Nikolas Lincoln, the second bad boy at college and Matthew Cruz's sworn enemy. He wanted to spend seven minutes in a dark room with me, just us, no one else? “Em…” "She's drinking," growled my hero, whose voice I could barely make out through the chatter. All eyes immediately shifted from me to Oliver, who now found himself the target of everyone's glare. "What?" Oliver giggled, raising his shoulders in mock innocence as the group scowled at him. "You seriously want Sam to go into a dark room with… Niko?" He smirked, gesturing towards a nearby door. “So what?” someone hissed and I was tempted to roll my eye
SAMANTHA “Ma—tthew?!” I gasped in shock, moving away from him and staggered a little. “Sorry.”I mumbled my apology. Even though I was a little tipsy—drunk from the little I drank, I could feel his anger toward me.If he was mad because I hugged him, even though I never knew it was him, I had no idea.My head felt heavy, as if an invisible weight had been dumped on it. My neck ached as I tried to crane my neck to gaze at the grumpy 19-year-old boy—man in front of me, the same one I had foolishly fallen in love with.“Let’s go home.” Matt groaned and grabbed my hand before I could crash into whatever was behind me. I heard a faint voice, cussing behind me but I didn't turn to have a look. “Home?” I mumbled, shaking my head like I have better things to do than go home with grumpy Matt. “I’m not going home yet.”“You're drunk?” he sneered, pulling me into his embrace. My face collided with his wide chest, and I inhaled the intoxicating scent of his rich cologne. I moaned, chuckling a
SAMANTHA “Meet me outside when you're ready to leave.” Matt said through gritted teeth. He gave me a once-over before turning his back on me and walked away. I stood there, watching him leave until he was completely out of sight. It felt as if a piece of me had been taken away from me as he leave. My fists clenched and unclenched. My eyes burnt with tears and I did everything I could to stop it from falling. I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have kissed him let alone blurting out my feelings like a fool. Matt would never stoop so low to be with someone like me. Ever. “I was such a fool to think Matthew Cruz would ever bat an eye in my direction. I was such a pathetic fool.” the tears I had been holding back all along fell freely from my eyes. Rolling down my cheeks like a burst of dam. “Hey,” a voice called from behind, I hastily wiped at my tears and bit down on my lower lip to stop me from making sob sound. “Here you are, standing all by yourself after turning down a hot
