My heart leaped when I saw Rudy.

Taran shifted at home, and I was riding on Cerberus when Rudy came running, meeting with us under the feet of the snow mountain. I wanted to talk, but Rudy only let out a short whimper before we started heading up to the mountain top. That was the only reaction he had towards me.
