Kirsch has been avoiding Willa :)
Willa's POV My heart leaped when I saw Rudy. Taran shifted at home, and I was riding on Cerberus when Rudy came running, meeting with us under the feet of the snow mountain. I wanted to talk, but Rudy only let out a short whimper before we started heading up to the mountain top. That was the only reaction he had towards me. The sourness in my chest came back soon after I realized that Rudy was also avoiding looking at me. [Taran, I think Kirsch's mad at me...] I groveled on Cerberus's back, mumbling in the mindlink sullenly, [I said he smelled and he won't talk to me since...] [He smelled?] Taran chuckled. [He smelled like my birthday cake. I didn't say that as a mean joke!] I pouted, unable to control my bad moon. Taran pursed his lips, but quickly smiled when he noticed my stare. [He's just uptight. You know him. All his attention is on the battle tonight. Don't think too much into it, silly little wolf.] Taran curved his lips. His tone did sound light. [He has never been so
Kirsch's POV "Alpha! You are back fast!" I could feel his jealousy through the mate mark, but I didn't even know why. Did he feel my emotion through our mark? "A rogue stepped into the territory, by mistake I think, but they are here already." Before I could finish panicking, Taran had already shifted back. I lowered my eyes. I had been on edge more recently when I got near Taran. Our mate pull somehow strengthened up. "The rogues? But it's not yet midnight. And I--" Willa walked up to Taran with his clothes. "I think it's Stone's men." Taran took his clothes, "If it's a random rogue, then he had no reason to leave the territory right after he stepped in. I'm pretty sure he knew where the border is. He only made a mistake becaues our border expanded." "So he only knows the old border, meaning--" Willa understood fast. "Yeah," I nodded, "The border Annie knew before she broke out of our mind bond." Stone Hayes came, with his rogue army. "What do we do? The new moon lasts for 12
Kirsch's POV"What are you talking about!" Willa giggled, wiggling out of Rudy's paws. Rudy backed off, sitting on his hind legs and staring at Willa.[Why aren't you accepting my mindlink then?] I asked, still trying to mindlink her. The only reason I could think of her rejecting my request was--If our human part is put into deep sleep, then your eyes won't flicker when your wolf comes out. It would be impossible to tell who is talking at that moment except for one way--You can't hide your identity in the mindlink."Nox can wake up anytime, so I don't want to be mindlinking you when that happens." Willa rolled her eyes with a smirk, "Taran said he doesn't want the pack to know curse, remember?!"I let out a relieved exhale.[I guess I'm a little paranoid today...] I glanced around. Taran was out of our site already, but I knew he was lingering around. He had to command the battle, so he couldn't come close."So, what's going on over there?" Willa asked.[Let me check.] I said befor
Kirsch's POV [You are not my Alpha!] Nox pushed me on my chest, leaving four red marks across, [Let go of me! How dare you look at my body?!] Cerberus roared at her shouting, charging at me the next second. I couldn't take him in my human form, but if I shift I'd have to let Nox go! I pulled Nox into my arms and held her tight from behind, keeping her between me and Cerberus. He stopped instantly. [Alpha! She's trying to hurt Willa! We need Taran!] I tried to mindlink him as I held her down, but Cerberus refused my mindlink. "Let me go, mortal! How dare you pretend to be my king?!" Nox struggled in my arms but she realized her strength wasn't an opponent to mine, "Kill her! My king! Kill her now!" Cerberus's red eyes moved to Nox's body, filled with a murderous lust. "She's Willa! Cerberus! Don't you remember?! She's your little one!" I shouted to Cerberus as I fought Nox. His huge head paused at Willa's name. He huffed in distress and shook his head, trying to clear his mind.
Kirsch's POV [Still alive at the moment,] I let out a relieved chuckle, [You picked a hell of a time for a nap, Alpha.] [Nox woke up, she mindlinked us and commanded Cerberus to not put through any mindlink before Cerberus knocked me out.] Taran stopped right where he was, and in the corner of his mind, laid Cerberus in a lifeless way. [What happened to Cerberus?] I frowned, the pain of seeing my mate hurt washed over me. [I don't know. He's badly hurt and couldn't move.] Taran frowned in confusion, [We are hurt, but the wound is not too bad, so I don't really know what happened to him.] Cerberus was badly hurt? [Hmm, we did that to you.] I told him, [There was no other way for me to wake you up.] [Ouch,] Taran smirked, making a face, [Not bad, Alpha Kirsch. I don't think I have ever been wounded so bad.] [You bet.] I chuckled, and that movement caused great pain from my waist, [Nox woke up and she put Willa into deep sleep. You need to find her. She's in the woods.] [On my wa
Kirsch's POV I really didn't know how to respond to that "please", partly because Cerberus had never said that to anyone. [I won't. I'm grateful that you didn't kill me, Alpha.] I bared my neck to him, [You had the chance and you chose not to.] Taran turned and dashed toward the woods as he "threatened" me: [Your death would hurt Willa deep because your soul is bonded to her already, even before either of you get a mark from each other. If you don't care about that, then you can roll off, ALPHA Kirsch!] [I'm NOT the Alpha!] I let out a frustrated grunt, but I didn't dare die now, afraid of what he said. I never thought of it in that way, but Nox DID took me as the mad king. If her soul WAS linked to mine already by any chance, my death would definitely hurt her. [We will see about that.] Taran smirked, but his mood lightened up by a lot now. What the hell does that mean?! I WAS the beta! Recognized by the pack bond, as of NOW! I rolled my eyes and sighed, trying to get up. My wa
Willa's POV Kirsch ran away to get out of his clothes. Seriously, I didn't mind it now. He had taken off his clothes in front of me several times now, and I was getting used to having wolves around me. [Why is he running away?! I have been drooling over his naked body for so long!] A question rose from deep in my heart. Was I interested in his body?! That can't be! But... Vengeful meany! NOW he ran away for it when he had been shifting in front of me all the time?! [I guess sex with him would do the trick.] I couldn't stop my mind from running like a crazy horse. Do what trick?! How could I think about having sex with Kirsch?! I rubbed my hair in frustration, trying to clear my mind. "What got into me?!" I panicked, turning around, only to remember I was chained down. [How dare they put me in chains!] A burst of anger bubbled up under my skin from nowhere. I knew I agreed to that, but I couldn't help but feel anger toward that. I must be too nervous about the new moon. "Kirsch,
Willa's POV Silence was all I could hear. Darkness was all I could see. "Am I dead?" I mumbled, realizing I could hear myself. The self-awareness rose fear in me because now the darkness that surrounded me meant danger. "Weak!" An angry voice rose behind me, and I jerked around, only to see more darkness. "Who's there?" I asked, unable to hide the fear in my voice -- what if she was a ghost?! [Taran! Kirsch!] I tried to mindlink, only to realize I couldn't even feel the mate bond anymore. I couldn't link any mind! Okay, I WAS dead. "How could you let a mortal take your life?!" The angry voice shouted with obvious disappointment. Did she mean Natasha? How could I NOT die when I wake up with a hole already in my chest?! It wasn't like I lost to Natasha in a fight! Wait, then who was talking to me right now?! "You are Nox! Natasha said she was helping you!" I blurted, fear washed over me. "You stole my mate! You prisoned me here for years and you tortured me non-stop!" Nox shou
