MICHELLE’s POV. Sitting in front of the doctor, my heart continues to beat fast against my rib cage. How I wish Enzo was here with me but he has a meeting that he can not miss but he promised to be here soon. ENZO’s POV. Sitting in front of the sea of eyes before me, my mind is not even on the meeting going on right now. Michelle went into surgery four hours ago and how I want to be there for her but I am stuck in this meeting which she made me promise to attend. Looking back at my watch, I still have an hour before everyone is done with their pitch and I am not sure how long I can take it anymore. “Can you not go a little faster?” My voice resonates in the entire room and the man on the podium bows a little. “Yes sir” he answers and I roll my eyes at him as my thoughts go back to Michelle. I want to be beside her and let her know that everything will be fine. My thoughts are interrupted when the mobile in front of me begins to ring and when I see the caller ID, my heart skips a beat. ENZO’s POV. TWO DAYS LATER. I groan lightly as I push my body out of the chair, my head is throbbing so badly and I just need to rest it for a while but how can I? It has been two days already and Michelle is yet to wake up. Lawrence has told me it would take some time for her to wake up but I am getting apprehensive about it and most especially because she is pregnant, she can’t be out for too long. “You need to take some rest or you will break down yourself” my wolf advises but I completely ignore it and pick up my phone before dialing a number. “Send all the files to my email, I will check them out today” “Okay sir” my assistant answers from the other end, “one of the models has been involved in an accident sir, I have been calling you but you didn’t answer. She has been rushed to the hospital” I let out a heavy sigh, the show is in a week’s time and a model is involved in an accident? “How bad is the accident?” “I am not sure she will be able to perform sir”

MICHELLE’s POV. “I can walk by myself” I tell Enzo two days later as soon as the car comes to a halt in front of the mansion but he will hear nothing of it. He alights from the car before gathering me up in his arms and making his way into the house. Ever since I woke up two days ago, Enzo has not allowed me to even do anything, he was up and about for me and I couldn't be more thankful. I am even more thankful for the fact that his blood was all the remedy I needed, the fact that he saved me and gave me a new leash on life. If I could ask for one thing from the moon goddess, it would be to keep Enzo happy for the rest of his life because he has shown me what Nicholas couldn’t in three years. MICHELLE’s POV. The scent of something yummy filters into my nostrils and I slowly open my eyes to see Enzo dropping a tray of breakfast on the bedside table. My face breaks into a smile as soon as I see him, he is my morning dose of happiness. He is dressed in a gray suit and his hair is pulled back in a neat bun, I genuinely can not take my eyes off of him. How can one look so good even in the morning? “Good morning princess” he says and presses a kiss on my lips. “I haven’t even brushed yet” I can’t help but whine and he scoffs. “I know that and I don’t care” he straightens up and pats my hair lightly, “have some breakfast and have your medication. They will arrive soon and you can use them as you please. NICHOLAS’s POV. As soon as he ends the call, I fling my phone on the couch and ball my hands into a fist. How dare he talk to me in that manner? Does he know who I am? The more I think about it, the more angry I get. How dare he? So now Michelle thinks she can speak to me as she wants because her little boyfriend is acting like a boss? I am quite sure he doesn’t know who I am and that’s why he must think that I am on the same level with him. Oh, how I will hold him and tear him into a million pieces. I pick up my phone to call her again but I decide against it, I really do not want to hear his annoying voice again. MICHELLE’s POV. The time is already past ten and Enzo is not back yet. Since he left in the afternoon, I have called him four times and his assistant picked every single time telling me he is in a meeting. I know Enzo told me he would be very busy but right now I feel like he is avoiding my calls since he left angrily. I don’t even know what to do and how to go about it, I don’t even know his office. Pressing my back against the couch, I pick up my phone to call him but the sound of the front door opening catches my attention and my eyes immediately light up but seeing Xavier, I can’t help but give a dampening sigh. ENZO’s POV. The moment Michelle cups my hardness through my pants, my body shudders as I lean into her embrace and deepen the kiss. With each stroke of her hand against my pants, my whole body shakes and my mind is clouded. I have imagined being inside of her for a thousand times and right now, I don't think I can stop myself, not when my wolf is already groaning inside of me. I snake my hand around her waist and pull her in, the kiss deepening in the process as I find her tongue and suck on it gently giving me an edge over her. I can hear her silent moans and groans in my mouth as I continue to suck on her tongue while gently removing the button of her shirt. I am not going to fuck this epitome of grace in front of me, I am going to make love to her. The kind of love making that Nicholas has not given her, the kind of sex that will make her want me for all eternity. With this at the back of my head, I slowly pull away from her but with our faces only an inch apart.
