Michael POV

As I gazed into Ruth's eyes, my heart pounded with every beat. We'd braved unimaginable dangers together, and yet, she still stood by me.

"Ruth," I whispered, my voice trembling with emotion.

Her eyes sparkled like stars, and she smiled softly.

"Michael."

I took her hand, our fingers intertwining like the threads of fate.

"In the midst of all this chaos," I began, "I want you to know one thing."

Her gaze locked onto mine, filled with anticipation.

"What's that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I love you," I declared, my words pouring out like a confession.

Ruth's cheeks flushed, and she leaned in closer.

"I love you too," she replied, her voice filled with conviction.

But I needed her to understand.

"No, Ruth," I said, my eyes burning with intensity. "I love you more than words can say. More than any universe, any galaxy, any star."

I pulled her closer, our lips inches apart.

"You're my home," I whispered. "My sanctuary. My everything."
