I didn't blink for several moments as I stared at Kai.

"You...I thought you were dead," I whispered, still unable to believe what I was seeing.

Kai chuckled. "Yes, I can see that. You accepted my death and decided to be with Alvis. You are even carrying his children," he said and looked at my stomach begrudgingly.

"I don't understand. How are you here? You are dead; Alvis killed you!" I exclaimed.
