Lilac*

My whole body went cold and it felt like my legs suddenly become too weak to carry my weight.

He found me!

But how?

Did he knew I was going to run away or does he have the ability to read my mind?

Reality hit me hard and I wonder if this was really my fate.

If it's my fate maybe I should stop trying to run away already and just have his children. Maybe, just maybe he might change and start treating me better.

He dragged me on my knees to my suppossed bedroom.

"Ungrateful wench! He shoved me to the corner of the room my head banged the wall, hard.

"How dare you defile my order and try to run away.huh! Do you think you would find your mate and even if you do find him, who would want an already marked wolf!"

He yelled, I found his eyes which was scanning the room and I immediately knew what he was searching for.

The whip!

Not again...please.

"It's was a mistake, I'm sorry" I pleaded on my knees as i drew backward away from him.

"Bitch shut the fuckup!" He yelled as he pointed the three mouthed whip at me.

I whimpered holding my lips with my hands not to make a sound.

"I have tried to make you understand that I alone love you, even your fucking father deserted you!" He screamed to my face.

"I alone loved you, do you understand!" He said whipping me hard like I was an animal.

And I nodded in agreement, it hurt a lot and I wanted him to stop.

At the very least he stopped and use the vase on the bed table to hit me on my head not minding the blood that splattered around the floor.

"Gracious goddess, why do you always make me go to this extent. Why?" He said as he ruffled his hair.

"Should I just behead your father?"

Hearing that, I crawled to him and wrapped my hands around his legs, I looked up at him with teary eyes.

"I'll behave. Sander, please don't touch my father, I promise to obey every of your word," My sad plea echoed through the room.

I felt miserable and I hated myself for being so pathetic. How can I birth a child into this mess of a life that I'm living?

Sander stroke my hair in what would have been a sensual moment if it was coming from the right person.

"Lilac dear, You see it is more easier when you behave well. clean up and make arrangements, we are having guest in the house and I won't condole any mistakes neither one of your stupid tricks. "

I nodded fervently to his words.

"And one more thing..."

He went mute and my heart almost stop pulsating.

"Gather all the unmated females," he finally said.

I nodded my head quickly. with one last disdained look at me, Sander left and I resigned to my fate, one day I will get the chance to escape but for now I was relieved to be alive.

It was an hour later and I was in the kitchen instructing the girls to make some fresh nectar, I had manage to shower but didn't get any treatment for my burnt back.

Sander usually made sure all my wounds took time to heal, he would always sprinkle monkshood(wolfsbane) on his whip and sometimes directly in my wound.

"Luna...Luna, is it true?" I heard the joyous voice behind me.

"What is it?" I feigned ignorance.

"You knew already, I heard we would be hosting the rumored demon alpha of the Northern Moon pack, he will be searching for his mate here in our pack. I also heard he's very handsome and very wealthy"

"And cruel and dangerous, not only is he a werewolf but also a hybrid. Demon and a lycan" I interrupted Stephanie the pretty gamma wolf who is my personal assistant.

"I have a thing for dangerous men, Luna." She said, her face was all blushed up.

"Be careful what you wish for, my dear. I was once like that.... handsome bad boys turn me ON from a distance, but It's turned out to be a dreadful fantasy I woke up from. Trust me, Steph. there's nothing pleasurable about it" I said with sadness written all over me.

"Luna I didn't.."

I shooked my head and went to check on the nectar. "I will make sure you meet him if you want. Who knows, you might winds up being his mate"

Her lips twitched and her eyes fluttered with pure excitement.

"Really? Do you think it might be me?" She asked.

I nodded and she glimmer the more.

She ran out but returned with a pouted face.

"I'm just scared that I might really turn out to be his mate, But I wouldn't want to leave you here"

I smiled heartily, Stephanie is one sweet assistant. She had light blond hair with light green eyes. Her blond hair which she tied into two buns made her look so young and babyish, her very fair flawless skin looks so tender and delicate.

Sander possessiveness wouldn't let me close to anyone, She's the only closest person to me and I considered her the younger sister I never had.

In summary I love talking to her.

"I want you to be happy, And no worries I will be fine"

I felt her hands sneak up around my waist as she pressed her body to my back, I winced in pain but bit downed on my tongue to stop myself from crying out in pain.

"You are the best" she whispered

The moment she left I exhaled loudly, Relief that she didn't caught sign of me in pain.

I began to turn the nectar into the glass jug, I specifically made a strawberry nectar because I knew the demon alpha Drayce loves strawberry a lot, we had our history way back in the academy.

Memories of the past flooded in my head, I remember how easy life was then. Alpha Drayce and I were child hood friends, it seems I was the only one who dared to get closer to him as all our schoolmate were scared of him because of the rumors.

He was skeptical at first but then I was young and a determined reckless child, and he later yielded to my friendliness.

Most times we ditched school to pick riped strawberries in the forest, and so many times we barely escaped.

I was surprised to hear that he's in search of his mate. What was he doing all this while and why did he finally decided to search for a mate?

Rumors said he fought and killed his older brother and jailed the second brother who dared to challenge him, I even heard he murdered his father in cold blood because he refused to give him the mantle of an alpha king.

Everyone feared Alpha Drayce, he became the strongest and the wealthiest alpha king in the country and he ruled his pack strictly.

Even the East, West And South Moon Alphas were scared of the demon Alpha King of the North.

Though I never believed those rumors, why would a child destroy his own family?

But regardless, they all shivered at the mere mention of his name.

It was said that he also rules the demon world. Which I believed, a blatant lie.

"Luna look," Meridith one of the omega and a servant girl pointed at the table and I looked down in horror.

The nectar were all on the table, the glass jug was just a quarter full and the rest was dripping down from the table as it flowed freely on the tiled floor.

Gracious goddess! I was so lost in thought that I absentminded poured almost everything away, I smacked myself on the head. There was no way I can present a quarter jug of nectar.

"Let's make another one" I rushed towards the store to get fresh strawberries fruits and Meridith immediately followed.

And for some reason I was not myself that day. Maybe it has something to do with the sour burn on my back or was it Sander request for children?

I felt too edgy like a young girl going on her first date, for the first time in that house I tried to make everything flawless.

I jotted from the loud deep voice that came from behind my ears. It was meant to be a whisper but since it was a monster whispering, It felt like a yell.

"Better stopped being so sluggish, you would receive him with a smile and appropriately too. Else, I would make sure you never use those legs of yours again. And have you gather the unmates?"

"The girls are ready," I answered naturally to prevent attracting attention.

"You would find us in the lounge with the enlivenment, be quick and no mistakes."

I almost hissed as he turned his back, I glared at his retracting figure.

This was never my dream, I dreamt of becoming a career woman but look at me making nectar for two chickens. one can't search for his mates in a proper way and then the other one is a woman torturer and a complete jerk.
