Once they were in the elevator, Clary could finally breathe. Tony seemed chilled like he had done this before but maybe he was only good at hiding his nerves. “Just keep smiling and everything would go fine. All we have to do is make it to the exit and we’re good to go,” Tony encouraged everyone. Clary smiled but it was a bit forced. She could not stop the anxiety that was swarming her body. She had never been so nervous. It was like she could feel everything a bit more if that even made sense. “It’s show time,” Tony said as the elevator made a ding and slowed down. He proceeded to walk right out and Clary followed, pushing the wheelchair gently. They were now on the ground floor and nobody really paid much attention to them. They were heading straight for the exit and when they were only a few feet from making it, somebody’s voice stopped them. It was a doe-eyed nurse. She had short hair and her lashes were long. She was dark-skinned and her eyes were light-brown. “Excuse me, hi
The car sped away from the hospital and Clary could not stop looking back. She felt terrible that Tony had left behind. She had begged the driver so they could go back but the guy was not having it. “I’m driving you straight back to the mansion,” The driver said in a firm tone. “There is no way I’m going to let you get arrested,” He added in a softer tone as he continued to press on the gas, checking out every few seconds to make sure that they were not being followed. As soon as they reached the mansion and the car had parked, Clary reluctantly got down from the car and helped her mom out. “Are you okay?” She asked. “Oh, I’m fine, dear. I think that question is for you though, we just literally left your friend back at the hospital. The possibility of him being arrested is very high,” Sarah replied as they walked towards the entrance.Clary forced a chuckle, trying to look like it didn’t bother her, but it clearly did. “I’m sure he will be fine…right?” Sarah made a small throaty
Ace lingered at the door for a few seconds, staring at Clary and Levi. His eyes glanced over at them holding hands and a slight growl escaped his lips even though he was trying his best to contain his anger. He hated that he was affected by this. He hated that he was not over the omega; from the moment he had laid his eyes on her at the Moon Festival, he had not been able to get her out of his mind. Ace knew. He knew that Levi was in love with Clary too. He knew that and it irked him even more that the omega had to stay in the guy’s house. Ace’s eyes were burning, he was on the verge of crying. He was going to break something, he knew it was going to happen. But he could not do that when Clary’s mom was right in the room and was not well. “Ace,” Clary called for the Alpha. Ace scoffed and turned around, walking out of the room. He headed out of the medical wing of the mansion as quickly and calmly as he could. But when he entered the residential area, he snapped. “Arghhhh!!!” He
It was the next day and Clary woke up in her room on the very large and soft bed. She felt well-rested and the peace that everyone had when they just woke up had flooded her mind. But after a few more seconds of being awake, her brain reminded her of everything that could go to crap. She was reminded that her pack hated her because of that scandal that Selena had started on national TV. She was reminded that the preacher was still in prison because of her and even though she hated what he did to her, she did not hate him. And having not seen or talked with him in a while had her feeling something weird that she could not quite explain. The omega was also reminded of what had happened with Selena and Levi at the hospital, which had caused Levi to almost do something stupid. She was reminded of Lola and Selena fighting so hard that Levi had to do something. Her mind kept getting flooded with everything that had happened. She was reminded about the baby that she had lost and the o
Clary could barely breathe as she stared into the cold eyes of Star. She had never felt so much fear in her life, it was not normal. She tried to look away from the hybrid but could not, it was like she had no control over her own body. The air was stiff and she could hear the light roar of thunder coming from the sky. “Clary Astoria…” Star began. He stayed his distance away from the omega even though he walked close to her every few seconds as he paced slowly. “That’s your name, right?” He chuckled. Clary swallowed and her urge to cry grew with each passing second. “Wh-what do you want?” She tried to sound brave, and in her opinion, she did sound brave.Star scoffed and then laughed deeply. “You know that I can smell your fear, right?” He stood still and folded his arms on his chest. “You’re drowning in fear, dear. You’re terrified,” He said the last word in a breathy way. Clary knew that Star was right and she had never felt so defeated. “I know who you really are,” She managed
The sun was setting, painting the sky with a beautiful orange. The wind was getting colder and the sound of the earth could be heard. Levi had left and it was now only Clary and her mom. “I think we should have brought a few clothes,” Clary mumbled as they continued to walk in the direction of the wilderness. “Okay, if we were going to bring a few clothes, you do know that we would have had to carry them, right? And gosh, I’m already out of breath; we’ve been walking for at least an hour or more. Clary chuckled. “I’m tired too, Mom, but I think we have only been walking for forty minutes at most.” “Forty minutes is way too long, Clary, I’m already tired,” Sarah said, trying to catch her breath. “How do we even know that we’re going the right way? Are you sure we’re supposed to be going this way?” Clary sighed lowly. “Mom, I don’t know if we’re going the right way, to be honest, but a part of me feels like we are.” “A part of you? Clary, are you serious? Can’t you just ask t
Clary sat at the dining table and her mom sat next to her. The cottage was very lovely and homey. There was a comfort in the atmosphere that the omega could not explain. On the other hand, she could not help the animalistic urge that she was feeling deep within her. Her fangs were even threatening to poke out but she tried her best to suppress it. “So…are you?” Clary asked again, adjusting herself in the chair she was sitting in. The lady smiled warmly and then nodded before replying verbally, “Yes, I am. And I am guessing that you two are werewolves?” She swayed the baby in her arms gently. “I think that’s pretty obvious,” Sarah said in response. “This is werewolf territory, human civilization is not even close to where we are.” The lady nodded slowly. “Well, yeah, you’re right.” She smiled lopsidedly. “So uh, I have some pineapple cake in the oven, would you two like some? And oh, we also have mashed potatoes.” “That would be lovely,” Clary said, flashing the lady a smile. Sh
It was now a few minutes to five in the morning and Clary was already awake. There was no natural light because the sun was still hiding away while the half-moon showed off its glory. Clary rolled over in the bed and her heart kept thumping in her chest. She could not help but be anxious about two things: her training classes and the fact that her mom wanted her to do something that could go sideways. But she knew too that her mom had a point. Kie’s husband could not be trusted, and so maybe her mom’s plan was for the better. Because she would definitely not feel too comfortable with being trained by someone that she did not trust. “Clary?” Sarah called in a whisper, trying to find out if her daughter was awake. It was almost five in the morning and she wanted to make sure that the omega was no longer sleeping. Clary adjusted the duvet and sat upright on the soft bed. “Yes?” She replied in a small voice. Her mom sat up too and cleared her throat. “It’s almost five, are you alread
*This should be a free chapter. Do not unlock the previous one, please!* Hey there, First of all, I want to say thank you to all who read this book. I am so very grateful for the time, gems, comments, reviews, and as well financial support. I enjoyed writing this book. Yeah, I had to juggle my social life, school, and taking care of myself and my nephews in a foreign country but nevertheless, it was a beautiful and emotional ride. Some may not be satisfied with how the storyline flowed, but most of you loved the book, and that makes me happy! There might be a possibility for book two. But that’s a “Might”. But for now, it’s a farewell from Alpha Ace and Luna Clary! Please, please, please write reviews and vote gems for the book if you’d like, it helps the book get more exposure and I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Big love to you all! But Jesus loves you more! :)

It was a year later and Clary was getting ready for the Moon Festival. It was at night and she was in the makeup room and had so many people attending to her. She was almost ready and her makeup was even done. She was only in that room because she was getting touched up once again per the head makeup artist’s suggestion. The lady’s name was Selena and although the name reminded Clary of the former Luna, it was a totally different person. Music played in the room and a huge vanity mirror reflected Clary’s face back to her. She looked amazing and could not imagine that she had come this far. She had gone from being an omega to being the Luna of the pack. It was a dream come through for her, no, in fact, it was beyond her dreams. Because all she had wished for since she was little was just to be happy; to find a mate, live a normal life and be happy. The door of the room opened and Ace walked in. When he glanced at Clary, his heart skipped a beat. He could not believe that he was no
The sound of the medical machine beeping echoed like it had been placed underwater. Clary’s eyes fluttered open and her vision was at first blurry before she blinked and it got cleared up.The air smelled perfumed and the sound of the medical machine beeping was now more evident. The omega’s throat was parched and she tried to swallow but it was very uncomfortable. That made her cough a bit. That was when she noticed that she was not alone in what she guessed to be a hospital room, even though it looked a bit fancy. Who she saw caused her heart to drop. “Dad?” She tried to speak but her voice came out a hoarse cry. It was the preacher, the guy was sitting not far from her in a chair by the bed. The preacher almost choked on the juice that he was drinking. It was what one of the nurses had given him because he had been in the room for almost the whole day without eating; only leaving for the bathroom and water breaks. He coughed for a few seconds before clearing his throat. He sta
Upon impact with Selena, Clary’s wolf was sent flying in the other direction. Her back hit the living room table, smashing it into many pieces. There were a few shards that poked into her back. And it hurt like crazy. “Stand up and fight, omega! Or should I say, Luna?” Selena mocked Clary as she approached her. Clary quickly rose to her feet but was pinned back to the floor of sharp shards just as quickly by the former Luna. She tried to get free from the demon’s strong hold over her but it was way too hard. “You’re hurting me,” Clary pushed the words out as she fought against the strength of Selena. “That’s the point,” The former Luna laughed out the words. She held Clary’s wolf down with just one hand and was now using the other one to try to stab it in the chest of the omega, aiming for her heart. Clary was so scared, not just for her but for her baby. “Surrender,” She heard her wolf say to her, and confusion filled her. Surrender? That would mean absolute death! That did not
It must have been three in the morning. The rain had finally stopped, not even a single drop falling anymore. The cabin had the smell of death lingering and the atmosphere was tense. Star was devastated. He felt depressed that his wolf and demon had been taken away from him by the Moon goddess. Yeah, he may have deserved it, but he would have preferred death over being made a human. You see, this was common in the pack, and maybe in other packs too. Every werewolf feared their wolf being taken away from them. They saw it as the highest form of punishment. If most of them had to choose between death and having their wolves taken away from them, death was going to be the popular option. Having one’s wolf taken away meant shame, demotion, and disgrace, and was just almost every werewolf’s worse nightmare. The hybrid stood not too far from Clary and barely paid attention to what was going on. He was still in disbelief that this had happened. Selena shifted back into her human
Clary was still on the floor, unable to get up. The powerful presence of the goddess was now made evident and it filled the room. But she could hear everything that the goddess was saying, including what she had just said about Selena's baby being alive. Clary chuckled in disbelief. “That’s impossible. Her baby died. And okay, let’s just say the baby’s alive, that still would not make my child the first heir,” She managed to say. The heaviness of the Moon goddess’s presence was now dwindling down but the omega knew that it was something that the goddess was doing on purpose. The goddess stopped pacing and looked at Clary on the floor. Her smile dropped a bit. “I told you to stand up, Luna Clary.” Clary made a small sound with her throat. “I know, but it’s not that easy when I can feel the literal essence of your being filling the room,” She confessed. The goddess's smile lifted up and then she let out a small breath, causing the heaviness to flee from the room in seconds. “Okay,
Levi’s wolf fell to the floor with a thud and he instantly shifted back into his human form. The light of life had fled from his eyes and death had stolen him away. But from the second that Selena had stabbed her hand into his back, he knew that he was going to die and at that very moment, he still did not regret a thing. Even if he had been given a second chance, he was for sure going to do it all again. He may have died, but his love for Clary was going to live on and on. “No,” Clary said the word out in disbelief as tears filled her eyes, blinding her vision for a few seconds before she blinked and it cleared when the tears had fallen on her face. “No, no, no,” Her voice broke. She shifted back into her human form and rushed to Levi’s side, watching the blood gushing out of his chest. “Yuck,” Selena said as she chuckled, staring at the heart in her hand. She then dropped it to the floor and licked the blood that was on her hand. “Please…please, let this be a dream,” Clary beg
Levi was furious, he wanted to just jump out of where he was hiding and attack the hybrid but he knew that it was not such a wise thing to do. So he did some breathing exercises. When he realized the breathing exercises were not really helping, he started punching the steering wheel really hard until pain shot through his fists; that was when he finally stopped. He then carefully got out of the car and hid in the bushes, making sure that he was out of sight so Star could not see him.“What the hell? You did not have to do that!” Clary exclaimed mentally, referring to what the hybrid had done to the driver. “He was the one that literally helped us to get here.” “Yeah, but he was also being overdramatic, he could have blown our cover and gotten us made by my sister.” Clary knew that the hybrid was right but she still felt bad for what he had done to the driver. “Anyone would have been overdramatic if they had seen a half-demon that has destroyed many packs.” “Okay, okay. I’m sorry.
