“Mom!” Clary ran towards her mom and quickly tried to grab her. She was so scared but didn’t even know what to do so she began calling out for help as she watched her mom fight for her breath. Clary hated that she had forgotten that her mom was not well. She had literally forgotten that Doctor Josiah had told her that her mom’s liver was really damaged due to the overdose. But she got carried away by everything that had been happening since she had come to the wilderness. And she felt really guilty about that. Alpah Aiden ran into the room, with Kie following behind him closely. “What’s wrong?” Then his eyes landed on Sarah fighting for her breath. His heart skipped a beat and his feet got cemented to the floor. The Alpha panicked immediately and did not know what to do but he knew who would know what to do though, it was his wife. She was a bigshot doctor from where she came from before they had met.“Help me sit her down,” Kie suggested as she calmly approached Sarah. With the h
Clary had never felt so alive. She had never been so in touch with her wolf before. It was exhilarating. Her insides tingled as she was drowning in adrenaline. She let out an ear-shattering howl that echoed into the air. The omega’s howl was so loud and strong that Kie had to come out of the cottage to see what was going on. She knew how her husband could get carried away when training people so she wanted to make sure that the omega was okay. She had treated Sarah and the omega’s mom was doing just fine. She had a few questions to ask the omega but planned to do that after the training and after a few hours of rest and food. Kie stood by the door and her mouth dropped. She had seen her husband shifted into a wolf many times; she had seen werewolves in their glorious forms, but each time it still took her breath away. She was impressed by the size and strength of Clary’s wolf. She knew that Clary was an omega, so in comparison to her husband’s wolf, who was an Alpha, it was quite
Clary's breathing had deepened and was a bit shaky. She still could not move her body. The scenery around her was different, she was no longer in the wilderness. She was somewhere else. But the sky was the same as when she was not pulled into her vision yet. There were clouds and even some normal birds flying but the sun made the difference. It was like someone had taken a black marker and darkened it. The smell of sulfur or burnt matches filled the air and a cold wind that raised goosebumps on the omega’s skin danced around. Clary kept her eyes on the half-werewolf-half-demon. She could see him very clearly and even though it was a vision, it felt so very real. Star was shirtless and the muscles on his muscles flexed each time he made a move. His upper body was covered with demonic markings that had started to appear first when he was just nine years old. When he had reached twenty, his entire upper body had already been clothed with the demonic markings. He used to hate the
Clary did not know what was happening and soon her mom noticed too. Her lips kept moving and forming words that she could not comprehend. And each time she uttered a word, she felt a shift in the room. “Clary, Clary, are you okay?” Her mom asked her, not knowing exactly what to do. She stood to her feet and approached her daughter. “What are you saying? I don’t understand a lick of it.” Clary tried to express herself but the rambling of the strange language just got worse. She was now speaking loudly and was no longer slow in speech. “Let me get Alpha Aiden, I think he would be able to help,” Sarah said worriedly as she stood up from the bed and rushed out of the room, in search of the Alpha. When she reached the living room, she saw the Alpha with his wife. They were on the couch ad the baby was asleep not too far from them in a baby crib that must have been brought into the living room recently because it was not there at first. “Is something wrong?” Kie was the first to notice
Clary fell to the ground in agony as the ringing in her ear got louder and louder. She groaned in pain and held her ears as if that could help but of course, it did not. “Leave, before it’s too late!” The voice continued in her head, causing goosebumps to raise on her skin and a shiver to run down her spine. Then it stopped. The ringing suddenly stopped, causing Clary to breathe out a breath of relief. The pain was gone all of a sudden, and so was the ringing that was accompanied by the voice she was hearing. She stood from the ground slowly and when she was upright, she noticed something strange in the night sky. She squinted her eyes and stared at it for a few more seconds and her mouth dropped in awe. The stars. It was like they were pointing in a direction. The omega had never experienced something like this so she was awed. She was tentative to follow the stars because what if they were going to lead her to where the hybrid was? Clary had trained and somehow was ready fo
Star ignored the pain that began to spread across his skin. He was half-demon so pain in some way was pleasing to him but he was also half-werewolf so he felt like pulling away because it also hurt! But he did not stop, he wanted to do something to the omega. He wanted to show her a glimpse of his power but the stupid protection of the Moon goddess was way too much. The more he got close to her, the more intense the pain got, until it felt like his skin was being peeled off his body. A small gasp escaped his mouth when he was now standing right in front of the omega. He smirked despite his immense discomfort and used all of his strength to lift his hand, running his thumb over her face. He moaned when he felt her skin, not because he wanted her sexually, but because it gave him much pleasure to finally be able to touch someone he had wanted to kill since he found out the Moon Goddess had chosen her as a protector. As for Clary, she had never been so close to Star before. The smell
When they reached the cottage, Star had still not woken up from his sleep. Aiden carried the hybrid on his shoulders and into their home. When he entered, his eyes met with his wife who was feeding their baby and had a look of worry on her face. Kie stood to her feet and watched her husband bring the strange man into their home. She also noticed that Clary kept holding the man’s hand so she thought that maybe it was a close friend of the omega. “Does he need medical help? How bad is it?” The doctor in her spoke, not able to keep that side of herself down. “Help?” Sarah chuckled the word out while shaking her head. “Darling, that’s Star. The half-demon that has killed thousands and wiped out packs. He’s the same one that Clary and your husband were supposed to battle today,” She explained. Kie doubled back and held her child closer to her. “Wh-what?” She laughed without humor, glancing at her husband to make sure that Sarah was not pulling her leg. But from the look on Aiden’s face
The room was silent as everyone stared at Star on the hardwood floor. It was now morning and the sun was no longer darkened, it was producing a beautiful golden light as it rose slowly into the sky. Bird chirped and a few weird noises that Clary did not recognize came from outside. “Are we not going to help him?” Sarah asked, not feeling too comfortable with just watching a man die. Yes, the man was a murderer and very evil but still, her heart broke watching him get slowly pulled away from them by the cold hands of death. She knew that he was half-demon but he was also half-werewolf, so he was one of them. “I–I don’t know,” Clary mumbled under her breath as she kept holding the hybrid’s hand. She knew that letting someone die was wrong but come on, this was Star! This was the man that she and Aiden were supposed to go into combat with. This was the man that destroyed so many innocent lives all because he wanted revenge. But again, Clary’s heart was tugged. She remembered what St
*This should be a free chapter. Do not unlock the previous one, please!* Hey there, First of all, I want to say thank you to all who read this book. I am so very grateful for the time, gems, comments, reviews, and as well financial support. I enjoyed writing this book. Yeah, I had to juggle my social life, school, and taking care of myself and my nephews in a foreign country but nevertheless, it was a beautiful and emotional ride. Some may not be satisfied with how the storyline flowed, but most of you loved the book, and that makes me happy! There might be a possibility for book two. But that’s a “Might”. But for now, it’s a farewell from Alpha Ace and Luna Clary! Please, please, please write reviews and vote gems for the book if you’d like, it helps the book get more exposure and I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Big love to you all! But Jesus loves you more! :)

It was a year later and Clary was getting ready for the Moon Festival. It was at night and she was in the makeup room and had so many people attending to her. She was almost ready and her makeup was even done. She was only in that room because she was getting touched up once again per the head makeup artist’s suggestion. The lady’s name was Selena and although the name reminded Clary of the former Luna, it was a totally different person. Music played in the room and a huge vanity mirror reflected Clary’s face back to her. She looked amazing and could not imagine that she had come this far. She had gone from being an omega to being the Luna of the pack. It was a dream come through for her, no, in fact, it was beyond her dreams. Because all she had wished for since she was little was just to be happy; to find a mate, live a normal life and be happy. The door of the room opened and Ace walked in. When he glanced at Clary, his heart skipped a beat. He could not believe that he was no
The sound of the medical machine beeping echoed like it had been placed underwater. Clary’s eyes fluttered open and her vision was at first blurry before she blinked and it got cleared up.The air smelled perfumed and the sound of the medical machine beeping was now more evident. The omega’s throat was parched and she tried to swallow but it was very uncomfortable. That made her cough a bit. That was when she noticed that she was not alone in what she guessed to be a hospital room, even though it looked a bit fancy. Who she saw caused her heart to drop. “Dad?” She tried to speak but her voice came out a hoarse cry. It was the preacher, the guy was sitting not far from her in a chair by the bed. The preacher almost choked on the juice that he was drinking. It was what one of the nurses had given him because he had been in the room for almost the whole day without eating; only leaving for the bathroom and water breaks. He coughed for a few seconds before clearing his throat. He sta
Upon impact with Selena, Clary’s wolf was sent flying in the other direction. Her back hit the living room table, smashing it into many pieces. There were a few shards that poked into her back. And it hurt like crazy. “Stand up and fight, omega! Or should I say, Luna?” Selena mocked Clary as she approached her. Clary quickly rose to her feet but was pinned back to the floor of sharp shards just as quickly by the former Luna. She tried to get free from the demon’s strong hold over her but it was way too hard. “You’re hurting me,” Clary pushed the words out as she fought against the strength of Selena. “That’s the point,” The former Luna laughed out the words. She held Clary’s wolf down with just one hand and was now using the other one to try to stab it in the chest of the omega, aiming for her heart. Clary was so scared, not just for her but for her baby. “Surrender,” She heard her wolf say to her, and confusion filled her. Surrender? That would mean absolute death! That did not
It must have been three in the morning. The rain had finally stopped, not even a single drop falling anymore. The cabin had the smell of death lingering and the atmosphere was tense. Star was devastated. He felt depressed that his wolf and demon had been taken away from him by the Moon goddess. Yeah, he may have deserved it, but he would have preferred death over being made a human. You see, this was common in the pack, and maybe in other packs too. Every werewolf feared their wolf being taken away from them. They saw it as the highest form of punishment. If most of them had to choose between death and having their wolves taken away from them, death was going to be the popular option. Having one’s wolf taken away meant shame, demotion, and disgrace, and was just almost every werewolf’s worse nightmare. The hybrid stood not too far from Clary and barely paid attention to what was going on. He was still in disbelief that this had happened. Selena shifted back into her human
Clary was still on the floor, unable to get up. The powerful presence of the goddess was now made evident and it filled the room. But she could hear everything that the goddess was saying, including what she had just said about Selena's baby being alive. Clary chuckled in disbelief. “That’s impossible. Her baby died. And okay, let’s just say the baby’s alive, that still would not make my child the first heir,” She managed to say. The heaviness of the Moon goddess’s presence was now dwindling down but the omega knew that it was something that the goddess was doing on purpose. The goddess stopped pacing and looked at Clary on the floor. Her smile dropped a bit. “I told you to stand up, Luna Clary.” Clary made a small sound with her throat. “I know, but it’s not that easy when I can feel the literal essence of your being filling the room,” She confessed. The goddess's smile lifted up and then she let out a small breath, causing the heaviness to flee from the room in seconds. “Okay,
Levi’s wolf fell to the floor with a thud and he instantly shifted back into his human form. The light of life had fled from his eyes and death had stolen him away. But from the second that Selena had stabbed her hand into his back, he knew that he was going to die and at that very moment, he still did not regret a thing. Even if he had been given a second chance, he was for sure going to do it all again. He may have died, but his love for Clary was going to live on and on. “No,” Clary said the word out in disbelief as tears filled her eyes, blinding her vision for a few seconds before she blinked and it cleared when the tears had fallen on her face. “No, no, no,” Her voice broke. She shifted back into her human form and rushed to Levi’s side, watching the blood gushing out of his chest. “Yuck,” Selena said as she chuckled, staring at the heart in her hand. She then dropped it to the floor and licked the blood that was on her hand. “Please…please, let this be a dream,” Clary beg
Levi was furious, he wanted to just jump out of where he was hiding and attack the hybrid but he knew that it was not such a wise thing to do. So he did some breathing exercises. When he realized the breathing exercises were not really helping, he started punching the steering wheel really hard until pain shot through his fists; that was when he finally stopped. He then carefully got out of the car and hid in the bushes, making sure that he was out of sight so Star could not see him.“What the hell? You did not have to do that!” Clary exclaimed mentally, referring to what the hybrid had done to the driver. “He was the one that literally helped us to get here.” “Yeah, but he was also being overdramatic, he could have blown our cover and gotten us made by my sister.” Clary knew that the hybrid was right but she still felt bad for what he had done to the driver. “Anyone would have been overdramatic if they had seen a half-demon that has destroyed many packs.” “Okay, okay. I’m sorry.
