I only agreed to take part as I thought I would be with Storm. If I had known I wasn't, I wouldn't have taken part. I have no urge to try and win her in a race.

I've shifted and am waiting for the second shot. When it comes, I follow the scent, as I do I collect the flags along the way. I can't concentrate, though; something feels off. So I gave up on the race and began to track Storm. As I run for where I can feel she is, I hear her howl and panic.

My body runs faster, but pain floods through my leg, and I stagger. Pushing myself to run, I ignore the stabbing across my body.

As I get to Storm, I see two wolves. My body rushes towards one that has its mouth against her throat. Knocking it out of the way, it barely even staggers.

I shift into my Fae form as the wolf runs at me, my hand flies up, and I watch the fire hit the wolf. It howls and falls to the floor, trying to get rid of the fire.

Turning, I see the other wolf biting her leg, flipping my hand forward, the fire hits it
