Storm

After the drama with Rose, I didn't even argue with Orion when he insisted I get some sleep. I wasn't hurt, but I knew that wouldn't stop him from worrying.

I woke up smiling, feeling Orion's arms around me. Despite the families having breakfast together this morning, I refused. I pulled Orion away, and we sat alone in a different room, eating.

"I'm in trouble, right?" he asks while looking at me. I laugh slightly at his question.

"No, I need to know what you want to do going forward, Orion. Now, before you answer, consider what you want, not me," I explain, and he nods.

Sitting, we eat, and he considers it.

"I'm fine, Orion. If you want to live with your family, I am fine going there with you." I've had my family close my entire life. He needs this time with his family, especially to learn about the Fae. Even for me, it would be helpful to be there, as there's so much I don't know about them.

"I would like to go when things are sorted," he explains, and I nod.
