I watch as Elijah leans against the side and tops up his glass. Asher sighs and walks out of the room. I had a feeling Rose was selfish and evil. I never thought it would be this bad, though. I watch as Elijah clenches his jaw.

Clearly, he's still feeling the pain of rejecting her. I was ready or thought I was ready, for who she was and how she would be. I was wrong. She was far more crazy than I imagined. The room stays silent, and I watch Elijah lean against the side.

Even I can feel his guilt, which is messed up. He shouldn't feel guilty for rejecting her; actually, she rejected him; he just accepted it.

He sits down and leans forward. His arms braced on his legs as he stared at the floor. "I'm sorry that she called you a bitch," his words are quiet. He shouldn't feel the need to apologise for her actions either.

Walking over, I sit beside him and wrap my arms around him. He turns and looks at me.

"What are you doing?"

"Helping it will ease the pain from you rejecting her
