Adira’s POV My parents’ house finally came into view and my heart began to race in anticipation of being inside it for the first time since I took off that morning not so long ago. Adira’s POV It was only a short drive before I spotted my father’s car parked in front of elder James’ home. My stomach began to turn into knots knowing that in a few minutes I would be face to face with him. Liam’s POV I had stood there long enough as Adira’s father played his little games. My eyes had moved several times to elder James, and I knew he had the information that we seek too. He looked like a wolf that was easy to break and I was going to take my chance to break him. Adira’s POV My body felt like it was on fire and that I was going to internally combust if Alpha Liam didn’t take me soon. I had pushed myself all day wanting to find the witch that could cure Lyra and now that we had a name, my body gave in, and I needed Alpha Liam to take the pain within me away. My father was going to have to wait to get his punishment that I was eager to give him. I wanted to be in my best form when that wrath came for him and right now I felt weak as I held onto Alpha Liam with all the strength I had left in me to make it through the lobby and to the elevator. Liam’s POV Adira’s body was beyond exhausted and I honestly had no clue how she had made it so long through the day. A normal she wolf wouldn’t have lasted an hour, but she pushed herself and I knew it was because of my sister. Gently, I laid her head onto a pillow and moved from the bed. Adira’s POV Stella’s elixir felt like an energy drink on steroids as I drank it down. The pain within me from the heat dissipated and the feeling of being exhausted and tired washed away within seconds. I had to wonder what was exactly in the elixir that she had made for me, but I honestly didn’t care at this moment as I felt better then I had ever before and I now was fit to help with finding the witch named Ali to save Lyra. Adira and Stella lingered behind us as they were our last line of defense to capture Ali.
