Chapter 77

Jason’s Pov.

We’ve been driving for the last six hours nonstop. We took only two cars. The least conspicuous vehicles in the pack. After what felt like hours being cramped up in the car, we finally stopped for a break.

After much contemplation, he decided to go with Mason. He convinced me he was ready and that he wouldn’t freeze up. So I brought him along. Everyone was straight on the plan. They ate, took a piss break before driving.

“We should arrive there in the next three hours if we don’t stop anymore,” I said to everyone in the car. They all nodded in response.

“Josh, are you still straight on the plan?” I asked.

“Yeah.” he answered. “I remember there’s a stream near there. If we can locate the stream, then we would be closer to the castle.”

“Okay.” I replied.

Three hours later, we finally got to the point where we said we’d abandon the car. We worked on covering it up with trees to camouflage it.

“Should we spend the night here or do we keep going?” one of the guys asked.
