Chapter 20 (Part 2)

“There she is!”

Walking through a bunch of customers inside my store is now an everyday struggle for me.

“Omg! She's so gorgeous!”

I barely got up today.

“Can we take a picture?” A girl in her twenties approaches me with a smile.

With my head throbbing, I immediately declined her with the gentlest way possible. “I'm very sorry, I can't function well right now. My head is aching so bad. Terrible hangover. Can we take pictures later?” I glance at my wrist watch, “Before lunch. Can you wait or maybe return? I really need to take quite a rest in my office real quick.” I smile at her apologetically.

Looking at her face, she seems very understanding and her smile turned gentle too.

“I understand.” She responds, her voice not that audible for others, but for me it is.

“Thank you so much. What's your name?” I continue to soothe the hell out of her when it's my head that I should be dealing with.
