Chapter Twenty-Six

Kierra's POV

"Good morning beautiful, hope you slept well," Aden asked from across the room sitting on a couch.

I didn't hear when he entered the room. I must have been sound asleep and I was so tired.

"Good morning, yes I did. Thanks for the care" I said sitting up.

" You don't need to thank me, Kierra. It's part of my responsibility to see that you are safe and happy"

The dinner yesterday was short. After Aden introduced me to Mr Anderson. We only discussed about Kenvy, its inhabitants they told me how a lot has happened in my absence.

I had a feeling they were speaking casually because they didn't want to make me uncomfortable with some other discussion of theirs. They almost were at each other's neck and now all of a sudden they were acting like one big family in my presence.
