Chapter Forty-one

Aden's POV

It's been ten minutes since I knocked at the door and no one has come out to receive the Pizza yet. I was getting impatient. I was about to take my leave when the door swung open.

What I didn't understand is why they took so much time to open the door. I could hear movements in the apartments but no one came to answer the door in time.

I could see a bunch of guys having drinks and playing cards. They were four of them or probably they were others, I couldn't tell.

There was something strange going on in this house, I felt it. That gut feeling of mine again.

"Here you go sir, your order"i handed the package to the man who answered the door.

"Oh sorry to keep you waiting. We forgot we ordered some Pizza. We were so focused on playing cards all day. And we had to fix broken water pipes in the bathroom." He said

"There's no problem" I replied.

"Hope there's a lot of meat in it," he asked. He looked so friendly but my wolf warned me not to trust that smiling face, it was a ma
