Chapter Forty-four

Kierra's POV

Mr Anderson is always with Aden most of the time now.

Ever since Mr Anderson had that talk with him in the study about how he was being distracted with me around. Aden has been a little distant, for days now we haven't been going to work together again.

When we meet at home, he pecks me on the cheek, asks about how my day went and that was it. Even such gestures had stopped in the past two days.

I knew Mr Anderson disliked me but I didn't know what reason he had to.

I am even more worried and being extra careful because Madam Charity wrote something on a piece of paper to me recently.

The word was written on the piece of paper "Be careful, Beware of Mr Anderson. That's all I can tell you. Don't ask questions." She passed this paper to me secretly by putting it under the plate containing my breakfast. Why is everyone acting weird all of a sudden or was I just noticing that weird stuff was happening because of Mr Anderson?
