As I stared at the note, I felt a rush of excitement and nervousness. Butterflies filled my stomach and my cheeks heated the more.

I then handed the note to Hayley, still blushing.

"OMG! He's so sweet," she said. This is really beautiful, Liz. I think I can consider forgiving him now," she joked and we both laughed.

I was happy seeing how excited she was for me. But my initial excitement was soon replaced by a sense of fear and worry. The feeling that everything was becoming too good to be true hit my chest.
