Chapter 48 True Feelings

Becky’s POV

She knows thanks to Celine, I thought.

Calm down Rebecca, she doesn’t know anything, she only suspects. I told myself.

Gracefully, I was more relaxed by the time the elevator came to a stop.

I walked into Anna’s room and got her ready for her day. Thankfully, Phillip and Linda had left by the time we came down.

After breakfast, I took her to the doctor, who had her checked up and changed her medication.

“So far, I hope you like the medication you are on?” I asked her as we left the hospital.

“Yes dear, no side effects.”

“I am glad. So this means you won’t have to throw it away,” I smiled.

“I would never do such a thing,” she said.

“You did before,” I reminded her.

“No. I never did, I always take my medicine,” she insisted.

I looked at Anna to see if she was teasing, but she seemed serious. Had she really forgotten she used to throw her medication away?
